Comments: praying for my wish we lost our home to a fire 1/1/15 and every thing but the clothing we had on we have been struggleing little over past year to rebuld our life just when we though every thing would be ok i got dinosed with stage 2 high grade breast cancer we have four children two grown ,and our youngest 2 still at home my son 17 has aspergers symdrome and my baby girl whom is 11 any support we recieve would be a blessing as i don't know where im going to get money to go to my treatments and my car need plugs and plug wire (tune up) and it is a little over a 100 miles from our home to closes cancer center thank you and GOD bless you for helping all that you do !!
Comments: I appreciate any amount of support I could get. I am a 34 yr old single mom of 3 that in the past year suffered from Hyperparathyroidism, Idiopatic Hypersomnea, Thyroid Cancer, Hyperthyroidism, and now Lyme. I was able to tough it out through my job up until recently. Today I basically got cut. My income was the only source of money for my children and I to live off of...and our health insurance. I'm still in debt from past medical conditions...let alone throwing Lyme to the pile. Oh, and my oldest son came down with Alopecia this year as well and is almost bald. This is so overwhelming and feels like a bad dream I can't wake from. Everything I've worked so hard for is gone just like that. Now on top of not being able to hardly function...I've got 1,000 other things to stress about. I know God will get me through this...and I appreciate any amount of aid. Thank you! If I'm able to get back on my feet, I know I'm going to help people in my situation as much as I can. This is truly a nightmare to live through.

In 203 I was diagnosed with Lyme Disease, Mold Poisoning, and Hypo Thyroid and other Lyme Co Infections. It has been a nightmare and next to no support for this illness. Nine months ago my Son was diagnosed with the same after much necessary suffering. We are losing our apt and medical is all out of pocket due o nature of illness. Becoming homeless this week, I need hope for my Son and I. We are exhausted, sick, sad , and feel pushed aside . Thank You, Cynthia

Comments: I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's large diffuse cell B stage 4 Cancer a little over a month ago. I worked full time and so did my wife. As it turns out I started having surgies including brain and recieving major aggressive chemotherapy, before either one of us knew what hit us. Needless to say our household income and any savings we had has been spent on medicines, major gas going back and forth to appointments daily, food shelter and routine cost of living expenses. We have small children and now its summer, we are faced with what sometimes looks like a dead end road, and Im not well enough to do very much anout it. My wife has applications in food and aid for families, but we were told that because our income was enough we wouldn't qualify for at least 4-6 months for food and cash. I do have a medicaid app pending as well as SSI SSDI. Sincerely, Darrell Washington

Comments: I just sent a request to you earlier this evening for help with a loan my husband & I had to take to cover his medical bills & our daily living expenses from his illness & brain surgery in 2013. We still owe $8000.00. Our income has been drastically reduced since he had to take early retirement & is not eligible for early social security till Oct, 2017. Comments: Hello, I believe I contacted 'NetWish' last week and explained how I am trying to get my special needs son and I into a apartment; they want a large deposit because of my credit and I also owe ComEd a large amount and know they are going to require a deposit. I was told by yet one more organization today hat due to the me being on disability they can't help me as you can only recieve funds from one state/federal agency at a time and my Medicare disability disqualifiies me. What's even more depressing about this refusal was that on my way there I got in a car accident and thankfully everyone is okay but now this is this is one more thing that requires money! I really feel like I just can't win! I know you help so many people and you are such a blessing to them! I have to find a close friend that will let us stay with them until I am able to get the lights back on. I am lost for words on what to do. I thought that I could get help from the local social services but I was wrong. Please help me netwish.

I was working until I got a blood clot in my leg and couldn't work. i have been living off my income tax refund money but that has run out and about to be evicted. it's hard to find any help. I pray everyday for someone or some place to help and it's sad to read how everyone including myself has to struggle. I'm trying to stay hopeful.....

Comments: I just emailed a request in hopes of assistance I have been to several agencies and received some help but I stillowe some of my rent a friend of mine gave me 100 dollars which helps me a great deal but I still need 350 more to cover the rest and late fees. I go to court on Wednesday I only wish I found this organization sooner. I remain hopeful they will help me with the rest of what I owe.
