Im a disabled veteran currently unemployed if you find it in your heart to come up with this money so i can have a happy fourth of july weekend. Comments: I am thankful for stumbling onto your site. When I was able to work I helped young adults with mental illness or drug addiction find resources to help get their life back on track. Now I am in need and I understand how they all felt. It is hard to ask for help but going forward my plan is to give back as soon as I can. Thank you

I am not qualified to get extra assistance but I would like extra help with food this month to help get me back on track. 150 dollars should cover us until then. Comments: Low income family on TANF with child w/SSI in home needs air conditioner to help prevent health issues like heat exhaustion, dehydration and heat rashes and hives that bleed. $200 would be able to buy an AC window unit to cool the common areas of the home. Disabled child has asthma, eczema and autism. I, myself, am disabled with a spinal disorder and chronic pain that is overwhelming when it is hot. Please help us!

Comments: I am taken back by the generosity that is being offered by a private individual when every county resourse has either "no funds available" or an appointment date "two months from now". I live in a town that two years ago, allowed one of the largest Indian Casinos in N. CA to open. Yet, our City does not have one single resource available to residents in need of help. The only food bank is ran by the various churches that rotate food pantries. Thank you Netwish.
