Me and my family are in desperate need of help. It is me,my husband and my 4 children ages 2,9,11,12. We are currently homeless because I didn't find a home in the time that my housing voucher allowed me,so I lost my housing assistance. And my husband works full time, but it's still not enough to pay for a home for us or rent a motel room for more then a week. I plan on going back to work when my children go back to school so we could hopefully get an apartment. But until then we struggle to try paying for a motel so my children will have somewhere to sleep . But like I said my husband's checks only pay for about o week in the motel and our basic needs. We are waiting to see if we get accepted into a shelter. But until then we really could use some help. It's to hot to keep my children out on the streets. Thank you and God bless!

I work at a Cancer Center. I have a male patient, diagnosed with lung cancer with mets. The patient had to move back from another state to WV when he was diagnosed to be near family. He is renting from his ex spouse. She as well as their daughter also have cancer of different types. This family has truly went through it this past year. The patient has NO air conditioner and with his breathing jeopordized, I am really concerned with his ability to remain in the home. However, he has no where else to go. He is the kindest person I have ever encountered. I am in great hopes of someone, somewhere coming through. i had another previous patient who purchased him a cot to sleep on. His gratitude is over the top! He is so appreciative/thankful for anything/everything we do for him

Mary, contact your local Social Services... they will help pay the bill - please call to see the dead line and contact the local big Churches.
Angela, I forget, but contact the Local Big Churches for assistant. In regards to that crook Title Max, please contact the local Attorney General to see what LAWS governed their deceitful patience.
You may be able to fill a cease against them. TRY Please.
I don't know how they work, But I know they have taken allot of ppl's cars and contact your senator also.

Please contact our Local Utilities Company, ask them for a Medical Health Certificate. As it arrives via the Mail. Take it to your Doctor's office, have them to complete via your son's illness. You should complete your Portion of the form and provide the return Fax number to the doctor, so they can fax back to the Utilities Company. The will turn your elect back on due to the Medical Equipment in your Home. Also contact your Social Services and apply for Food Stamps. It is very easy and not allow required to apply and you may apply for financial assistant also to Help pay for your Light bill. Also contact the United Way, share your Zip Code and they will provide local Help within your area.

I say all of this, because I have a Heart Monitor for my defibullator and pacemaker at home.
out of work since September, where I received short term disability for 6 months. I was able to pay all of my bills, until March - that's when the Short Term expired and the Long term was denied. I have applied for SSI and I receive food stamp. I called the United Way here in VA (211 on the phone) They provided Churches and Charities within my area. my june rent was late. my rent is 1031.00, however its started out under 800.00 in 2007. I used my checking acct and paid my bills, the funds were not much. so I had to ask for churches and charities to help me. When the late fees and cost of court and rent was tallied I owed over 1700.00 Imagine that. But the amount was paid. The landlord, assured me they would not evict me - but they filled for the WRIT for my apartment, I have resided there for 10 Years. They are working with me so they say.
But I contacted a pro bono attorneys firm whose assisting with the Long Term Appeal and SSI. SO don't give up. Theyre is help out here. No, I am not a church member, but they help. I contacted the Catholic Charities, they have helped with the June's rent.

regarding the Light Bill, I had a Notice, I contacted my Utlities Company in VA, which is Dominion. I was lead to the Social Security here in Richmond, VA and they have a program that will help you Pay the Light Bill with the Disconnect Notice, and will help you because you have Small children. Contact the Social Services in your area. Please Contact United Way in your area, We contact UW via 211 on the phone and share your zip code and they will share numbers of charities within your general area. Also remember to sign up at Social Services for Food Stamp. It does not take long. And also sign up for emergency housing if needed.
Also Local Churches - Please call them, They offer FOOD PANTRIES. Great Food and Not required.

Hello. I am sincerely grateful for the opportunity to apply for such help. Needless to say I am in a position of great need. I have left a 22 year controlling & emotionally abusive marriage a year ago in august. My not yet x spouse would come to my place of employment until i was so embarrased & frustrated I left. Taking care of an elderly lady to have an income suddenly stopped since she has become hospitalized. I am going yo be homeless in a few more days. I have nothing I am feeling very hopeless. I pray this is real help & I can get enough help to get back on my feet and pass it on to others in my circumstance soon. $500 would help me get yhe start I desperately need to get back to something resembling a life.

My name is Jen I am a single mother of 3; ages 12, 7, 2. My husband pretty much left me during an illness and physically fully left us draining the bank accounts at Christmas. He voluntarily gave some support and threatened with taking custody of the kids... so I agreed to what he was giving... not paying the electric and most bills but the rent. HE started to get physical and I filed for a PFA. I am struggling now paying the rent and the electric. I currently have a 10 day shut off notice and if ANYONE knows how to get help I appreciate it. I do have the PFA issued and he cant come near us. I filed for support and after a few months the support is starting to come in. IT
s not the correct amount. I am pending SSI for brain anuerysms and chronic migraine with some vision loss.The intense heat and thunderstorms not helping. Any help or direction on where to get more help would be appreciated.

I have filled out a net wish for formula for my newborn son I am eligible for wic but all they cover is Similac and we have tried every brand and he is allergic to it he brakes out in hives and gets severe diarrhea and projectile vomits so we been having to buy Enfamil gentle ease but my husband was laid off 2 weeks ago and his unemployment won't even pay our bills so any coupons or help would greatly be appreciated thank you and God bless Sincerely Mary

I am a 63 years old female, in need for my water bill to be paid and a refrigerator. A pipe broke or was leaking on my side of the water line and I had to get it repaired so that I would stop getting 250.00 bills, with theses bills and the repair I have gotten on a try to keep up wheel, which is not working well. I only get a check for 748.00 a month to live on due to my disabilities. And now I have no refrigerator. It has gone out!! I have no money to get it repaired or to buy another one. I have zero in the bank and I live by myself with no car. I am here in ATL alone and haven been able to get help from the agencies here in ATL, they are out of funds. Closed! I don't know what I am going to do. If the bill is not paid by the first of August, they are going to cut my water off. I been praying for help with the roof, but I just want to have water and somewhere to put my food, maybe some ice in all this hot weather.

I stumbled across your site and feel it is an answer to my prayers.

Our family has experienced a difficult year emotionally and financially. Both of our daughters attempted suicide. Our youngest tried five times.

I cannot express the emotional turmoil that we have experienced. Nor am I able to express the ongoing fear in which we live. Our daughters are depressed. Their medical care that they need is financially overwhelming. And, we no longer can afford it.

My husband lost his job 9 mos ago due to the amount of time he needed to tend to his girls.

It is a vicious circle...no job, no medical, no income...

We have sold belongings to make ends meet. We are at a loss. We have nothing more...we are losing our home, vehicles and can no longer provide for our kids.

Can you help us, please.

My Dad passed away in October, I'm having a hard time dealing with that, he lived with me over 4 years. He was in a wheelchair & on dialysis, kept me running! I would first like to pray for all the people suffering from any kind of injury and I do hope any money that is available surely goes to those of you first. I am only 21, I am in college and I am behind on my rent, my car note, my insurance, and I also have warrants for tickets because of all the times I was running late to class/no insurance. I lost my job as a waitress making 2.25$ plus tips and now I am honestly down to nothing. I have been barely making it, scraping change, asking for food, sleeping in car in from of school to conserve gas. I know I am not the only person with daily struggles, but I could ossible and also if you could pray I get the help for me to become stable and back on track so that I can finish my pharmaceutical class and one day be able to lend a hand to someone in the future that could be in the same position as I am now. My family have recently went through a major life changing event that has left us upside down. My son age 18 was hit by a drunk driver while on his motorcycle that has left him with a traumatic brain injury, 2 months in the hospital and now 24 hour care. I have got full guardianship over him that has left us with lawyer fees, borrowing past my limits and now not able to pay my bills. I have watched my son die and God bring him back to me so no matter what I am truly blessed and even if all anyone can do is pray for our family is worth more than any money out there. I haven't been able to pay my house payment this month and next months is coming due. I have applied to several jobs and got one but they only pay once a month so it will be the end of August before I even get paid. So any help at this point will be so helpful. Above all I ask for prayer for my family.
