Comments: Hello. I'm making this request on net wish, because I'm struggling. I was laid off from my job, have not been able to find work. I recently was in a bad accident and have filed for disability but the eviction process has already been started and I will be in court any day. Comments: Hello and I pray that everyone is having a blessed day.I've been struggling for a while looking for work to support my 3 children.I pray that an angel will answer my prayers for me and my kids.Right now at the moment we don't have any food in the house,rent is due for this month,and lightning is due in two weeks. I've had to pawn things that I have just to get by and it's hard. I have asked for help from my parents but no answer.I have been praying and praying and asking god to send me a financial blessing. When I seen this site it was a blessing. I just ask if you can find it in your heart to help us out with at least this month.I have done paperwork for a job but it may be another two weeks before I can start company waiting on my information to come back. So,if you can find it in your heart to help please help us because I the landlord we have he will evict us.It's hard dealing with a landlord that has no compassion for his tenants but I'm not trying to put him down I have just been down this road before with him. Comments: To whom it may concern my family and need help with a used car or getting our minivan fixed it needs a transmission. The transmission cost 2500.00 to get the van fixed. We lost our home in the flood last year in October 2015. We lost almost everything our home, and our two vehicles. Fema turn us down four times. We were homeless for four month staying in a hotel. God Bless us to find a rental for 500.00 a month. I have and four years old and a 24 year old who is disable. My daughter was diagnose with cancer when she was 14 but thank God she is now cancer free but it left her with severe side effect for the rest of her life thank God she is still here. My family and I just need a little bit of hoe and relief back in our lives. I been so down and out and depressed but I have to hold up a good face in front of my Kids because I don’t want them to worried about me. I always worried about how I am going to get to work, take my son and daughter to their doctor’s appointment or if something happen at the school and I can’t get there to pick him up. Comments: Hello & God Bless, I am a 56 year old disabled woman needing assistance with my electric bill and my rent for this month. I receive $887 from SSDI & have been denied SSI. My rent is $700 and my electric is $74.57. The disconnect on my electric is 12/3/2016. I have been looking for some kind of part time work that I can do with my disability but so far I have had no call backs. I have been working with Indeed.com & have sent out around 15 resumes. Comments: The only wish my family have for this holiday season is to be able to have our own place as we have been homeless since April 6, 2016. Our family consists of an Air Force Veteran (with medical issues), a 14 year son and myself (the only family member who's able to work). We have been approved for a house but lack the security deposit to secure the home ($920). We have less than 30 days to provide the funds to the realtor before the house will be placed back on the market. If we could have anything for this holiday, it would be to have our family back together in our own home. We have lived in hotels, with family and friends and the family that we are currently living with has received notice that their lease will be terminated soon and this will put my family back in a hotel (which we can't afford) or in our car. I am a single mother drowning in medical bills and I work so much as it is and I cannot afford a tree or even Christmas. I don't care about if I get anything I just want my son to smile and be happy on Christmas morning. Comments: I think the hardest part of being poor is the feeling of hopelessness that washes over you like a giant wave when something you really need is so far out of reach that it hursts to think about it. My van died in October - the repaur bill was over $1100 - more than tbe book value of the car, BUT THAT CAR WAS INVALUABLE TO ME. There is no limit to the value of a car when you live alone and need to go to doctor 15 miles away, or my neices wedding two states away. And today, its something small -I HAVE NO WAY TO TAKE MY LITTLE DOG, ARIEL, TO GET HER NAILS CLIPPED. ITBREAKS MY HEART NOT BEING ABLE TO CARE FOR HER LIKE I SHOULD. Comments: My husband & I live in a seasonal area. Unfortunately this time of year it is hard to find work. We are lucky enough that my husband has a year round job. But we still are struggling. I am waiting to have my fourth knee surgery & can not work at this time. I've applied for disability but it is a long slow process. Therefore I am unable to help my husband by contributing to our household bills. This month we find ourselves in a bad situations. We've had to prioritize bills & unfortunately after the important ones such as rent & car so my husband can keep working. We found ourselves having to decide over electricity & food. We chose food , but now we're down to one day left on our electric account. After today we find ourselves with no electricity. Which means no heat, water or even refrigeration. Any help you can spare would be very greatly appreciated. If you can not help we completely understand as this is a hard time of year for many. Comments: I'm trying to get help for my sister, who is a widower that has struggled since the lost of her husband a few years ago. Recently she lost sight in her left eye and needs to see an eye speciaist but doesn't have the money and doesn't have insurance. Then her gas was turned off and while she was using the oven to heat the house, her stove went out. She really needs help and I wish I could help her but I just retired this last January so I could take care of my 73 Year old husband that is quite ill.
