Comments: Greetings, my partner (whom turned 70 today) and I are both disabled and living in a tent since it is very difficult to find a rental in our area. My partner works at Walmart (graveyard shift) five days a week and our tent spot is an hour away from his work. Our wish is that you can help us with a two hundred dollar gas card to help us get to and from work. I say "us" because I have to drive him to and from work but at least I sleep in the car while he's working. Our campsite is cheaper than a hotel but still costly ($20/night) and that adds up quickly. Thank you, whomever you are, for caring for those of us whom are not as fortunate. One day we will be fortunate enough to do something similar to what you are doing for others.

But I am in a situation where I myself need help. I currently was let go about 2 months ago. had some money to pay for my rent back in March. Come April I have not been able to find any jobs and been unemployed. I have been actively looking with my school career service. Not giving up. I also was not able to apply for a student loan since my next class for my internship does not start till July. I have rent coming due in May and have no funds to pay. My rent is 850. I have the lease if needed. What has been more challenging is the rental services in my area I cannot receive since I am not employed, but I understand all agencies have protocols and procedures. I will forever be grateful once I get past this tribulation and trial in life. But any help is a blessing.

I tried my very best to “keep it together” by working obsessively and working out 20 hrs a week. I thought it’d be best to just stay busy and try not to die from the pain I felt. This was the case until Nov 2022, when I had a nervous breakdown and was institutionalized for 12 days. It saved my life! I’m now in therapy once a week to help manage my depression, anxiety, and PTSD, and just beginning my healing process. I received help in filing for disability, but that assistance will take over a year. On March 30, 2023, I had my very first mammogram. It was abnormal and I had to have a biopsy. A mastectomy was suggested considering it’s ER Positive. Any nomination will be greatly appreciated and will go directly to my medical bills. Blessings all

I have been going through hard times after being laid off and am now two months behind for my storage unit payments and am at risk of having all my cherished personal belongings (literally all the clothes i own, artwork i have created, musical instruments, photos, books, family items, etc) being auctioned off/thrown out. I have been homeless and living in my car for about 5-6 months now (and been on and off homeless for the past two years) and after losing my job two months ago, while I was working hard to get back on track and get my life together, has caused an even bigger domino effect besides everything else I am dealing with. My storage unit company told me I have until April 3 to pay my past two month dues plus the amount for the upcoming month of April otherwise my possessions will be thrown out. It is hard enough that I am already homeless and these are the last material things I own that hold great value and are very important to me. This would be very hard on me emotionally and mentally if I was to lose the last of my belongings. It would take a lot of stress off my plate knowing I can go to sleep peacefully, without having the extra worry and anxiety, and to be able to know all the belongings I have left will be safe. Knowing I am very close to losing all of the things that have been keeping me sane these past few years has been putting me in a very dark place and is really disrupting my mental health. I feel like my mind can't sit still since being told I have a very small window of time left before they throw everything out. This is literally all I have left besides my car. And I'm not even sure how long I have left with my car as I am very behind with my car payments as well. But as of right now I really want to make sure my belongings will be safe and secured. We have received no help from the government and I have exhausted all the resources I have been given. We sometimes go without food. Comments: Hello, my name's Christian & currently I'm struggling to cover my rent & obtain a car. I was laid off from my old job majorly & wasn't able to cover my rent expenses. My new job is also an hour and thirty minute walk from my residence and I do physical demanding work on a daily basis. If I had a car it'd make things way easier for me. I'm only 24 years old. I grew up and only known struggle for a majority of my life up until this point. I've gone through homelessness multiple times, and traumatizing experiences that I never want to go through again. I'm not a bum and I'm not lazy either, I just don't always come across the best jobs and some employers bluff and don't give the hours or pay that were promised initially. I don't have family or much friends or a support system so everything falls back on me at the end of the day. There's lots of times where I have to choose whether I'm not going to eat for a few days or not have money for a bus fare for the week. I was never taught or given things in life and I want to at least be granted a fair chance or opportunity to prove that I'm capable of doing great things and helping others in the world in the process. I'm currently studying online for psychology & neuroscience to master the knowledge of the subconscious and how to change our belief systems when it comes to trauma and how it affects us subconsciously. basically tools to help people heal and overcome things that affect them on a deeply rooted level. I pray that someone notices this and feels generous enough to reach out.

I am and ASE certified Mechanic and also posses my Airframe % Plwerplant license. Now I'm not trying to inspect and sign log books but I will fix housing situations if agreed with property owner as im insured and will obtain permits if necessary but I'd like to help. So, we found a place and we put the money on application fees and put some money down towards the $2,100 security deposit. However, we still need more funds to complete everything.
