My name is Kimberly and I am posting on behalf of my life long friend Paul Wagner who was diagnosed 11 months ago with colon cancer, at moment he is STAGE 4 WITH MAS. TO BONES AND LIVER.
If life was measured by the goodness in One's heart, there is NO DOUBT, Paul would outlive us ALL.
However, unfortunately, that is not so.
Paul is in Hospice care now, but he is a fighter, 3 months ago, they said he wouldn't make it thru the night. He has surpassed the doctor's life expiration date multiple times.
As of moment, Paul has been without electricity, other than an extension cord running from the neighbor's for week and half, and water will b shut off today or tom, if we can't find funds.
We need your help, please.
This is the first initiation , for help, of any kind to any group (got, or non profit).
We have struggled thru til we can't struggle no more.
Your kindness in this thoughtful act of gifting is MUCH APPRECIATED MORE THSN YOU COUKD EVER KNOW.
Kind Regards,
Kim Steinkamp

My name is Jeanine. My husband and I are in need of help. Our a/c went out and it is 85° in our house. $200 would help us get a nice window A/C unit. I have diabetes, a colostomy, and suffer from mast cell mediated disease. At this time, we have a total of $3.45 to our name to last until the 23rd of the month. Also, that is the day I'm supposed to get all my teeth pulled for dentures. If you can help, we would be ever so grateful. Thank you.

I’m disabled through my state medical review team, SMRT, and I receive $203 a month in General Assistance. I just got denied and will be going in front of an administrative law judge next for SSDI. I have much to be grateful for one of which is my emotional support animal, a cat named Bruce Lee. He needs to go to the vet, he’s limping after getting outside and into a fight with a possum, raccoon or maybe his girlfriend that I had to break up their fight last summer. His brother Jackie Chan passed in 2020 and Bruce Lee is my world. It’s hard to find help without bringing him in and getting a diagnosis and quote for how much to get him fixed up. If you would consider us I would be forever grateful for your help! Regardless I think what you’re doing is an amazing thing to do and the world needs more caring people like you in it. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Bruce & Charity

It is so kind of you to offer assistance. I am disabled and not able to work gainfully to keep up with the skyrocketing utility bills. I can not replace my failing home appliances, ie microwave, refrigerator and vacuum. I would appreciate the one time assistance if you could extend it my way. Even if you can't, your kindness and generosity are noted. Thanks for your time.

Last year we got hit with the hardship of my sons illness. I was working a job at the school as an interventionist and couldn't return to work as my son had to be sent to Houston for a Bone marrow transplant. We stayed out there for 6 months. Thankfully Thank God we are now back home but he is immune compromised so I need to stay home. Unfortunately I still can not find a remote job. The bills don't stop and we still travel every month for a couple days to get labs done for my son. I have a daughter as well depending on me. Blessings

My name is Danielle and I am a single mother of two beautiful kiddos. Back in 2020 I quit my job working at a factory to pursue my dream of owning my own retail shop and being my own boss. It was a risk, but it was worth it. Everything was going very well for me and my shop was profitable until about 8 months ago. Things started to go downhill and despite me holding on for dear life and doing all I could I ended up where I am today. Which is exactly ten days from losing my home, the very first home I ever actually owned and the home my children have grown up in. My accounts are depleted and I terrified and at a total loss. I hate asking for help, but my family and I could really use some right now. We need a blessing in a major way so we aren't out on the streets. Absolutely all monies donated will be going towards my past due house payment so I can avoid losing the house. If you could please find it in your hearts to lend me a helping hand you have my word that I will pay it forward as soon as I am able. I need $3,000 in ten days...lord please send us a miracle!

Hi my name is Gloria and in December 2021 I was diagnosed with Discoid Lupus and Sjogrens Syndrome with inflammatory arthritis and dental involvement. Since that is been a rollercoaster. I had 5 crowns, 2 of them with complications (infection and abcess) and was referred to an endodontist for further treatment (more than 3 thousand dollars all together). I have been dealing with constant pain, fatigue, hip pain, back pain, dental pain, chest pain, chronic constipation, neurogenic itch, undifferentiated connective tissue, benign neutropenia, lupus anticoagulant positive and recently diagnosed gastroparesis. I am seeing so many Drs that I need help with my copay for them or the medications or both. I am missing a lot of hours and days from work to get all the testing require to done: MRI, CT Scan, Manometrys, Nuclear Esophageal test, xrays and bloodwork. Please any help will be greatly appreciated, thank you

Where to start? I was raised in the way that if you can help someone you should  , and I'm known for doing just that. Recent events has me questioning the way I was raised because of how people are these days.

A friend of 4 years needed a place to go because they were being evicted , and my having a spare room I naturally invited her and her 5 year old son to come stay until she found a place. She accepted the offer. My friend , I'll call her Cathy , has been telling me for 4 years that she was leaving her husband ( not for me , we were only friends ) , but the evening after she moves in here comes her husband and her 29 year old son , which Cathy invited without asking me.They were here for 3 months , in which her husband did give me $100/wk for 4 weeks , for 4 people. That $100 stopped and my electric bill tripled each month , my water bill doubled , and I got behind on rent because I was also feeding 4 more mouths.

After 3 months I informed Cathy that the situation was not working and it was time for them to leave ( this was 03/10/2023 ). In the next couple weeks they started moving their belongings out , and 30+ days later all she had remaining here was her fish tank , which I had told her it was fine get it when you can. On April 16 , 2023 , I was woken up to beating and banging on my backdoor. I start towards the back of the house and hear  loud crash , it was the police kicking in my backdoor. Cathy said I stole her stuff , her stuff ( fish tank ) that she brought to my house , and I was arrested for Grand Larceny. It was a 25 gallon tank that I was not trying to keep. Not guilty is an understatement , but the legal process will be long because of charges I'll be pressing against Cathy and the police department.

Utilities are my reason for being here on NetWish. My water is already off and my lights are next. Lights alone are over $900. I got out of jail on May 22 , 2023. I no longer have a job. I'm not one to ask for help , but give it. I don't know where else to turn at this point. Any and all help giving through donations would be more than greatly appreciated.

I do have documents to back up what I have shared. Thank you!!

My fiancee and I have had quite the year and a number of tragedies and problems, I'll list them for clarity.
1.first off he is officially deemed disabled.
2.i was hospitalized in Sept 2021 in ICU for 20 days, leaving a massive copay balance due.
3.his father died while he gave CPR in July 2022 and we had to contribute to funeral expenses.
4.3 months later in September 2022 his mother died and we had to help with funeral expenses.
5.we have one AC/Heat window unit for the whole house which for one is not enough and two it is going out.
6.my car is in need of many desperate repairs and we are driving on unsafe tires.
7.Our very old water heater is breaking over and over and my husband is doing his best to patch it together each time.
8.and just yesterday the faucet on our water faucet for the tub broken off deep into the line and now we cannot use the tub until it's repaired. My husband can repair but will have to buy parts.
This is just what comes to mind off the top of my head. We are also without a lawn mower, weed eater, working oven. We are having to microwave or crock pot all meals. Life has been hard for a while now. We would appreciate any assistance you can give.

My wife and I moved to her home island of Oahu, HI to help take care of her elderly parents and I transferred over for better military jobs with the Hawaii Army National Guard. We rented out our home we bought in Buckley,WA where we moved from and the tenants were contracted via a legal binding tenant/homeowner agreement until October 2023. However on May 15th they sent me a text saying they were packed up and moving out. Leaving me with the utilities and May's mortgage because they never paid Mays rent and left a debt on the utility bill for the house. Upon receiving photos and a video chat from a military friend of mine who went out and view the condition of the home, it was left with property stolen, vandalized, many things broken and a mess with garbage and dirty walls everywhere. I am still paying for my family and I'd living expenses in Hawaii and trying to pay off the debt in utilities and repair/cleaning costs. Along with these costs my wife had our new born on March14th, 2023 and we are still paying back up to $1300 dollars of hospital and birthing fees. Any assistance will greatly benefit my family.

I am struggling to fund the custody evaluation that I was allowed to hire…..Any amount at all will help. I am currently $30,000 in debt to legal fees and evaluation fees to gain sole custody of my3 young children (ages 8, 5, and 5).
They are currently living with my abusive ex husband. He is engaging in parental alienation daily, and our children are beginning to show severe symptoms of alienation syndrome and also emotional/psychological trauma.
This evaluation is my only viable hope of gaining custody of them and bringing them to safety. Please help in any way you can. I have to protect my babies. 🖤

Hi, my name is, Debi Bell, I am from Spokane, Wa. but I moved about four years ago. I love the weather here. We're about an hour from the Gulf of Mexico.
I have had a few bumps here, but the people here are very nice. When, I decided too move to Mississippi I knew only one person. He was my high school sweetheart. We had not seen each other in about 33+ years. We met in our 7th and 8th grade years.
Just going through a another bump in our life. We moved to a flip house. We didn't buy it we're just living here, flipping it for the property owner. He is a friend of ours. He had some pretty bad people living here that destroyed the property. The removed all of the plumbing from under the bathroom and the kitchen. It is a little more than we first thought. We haven't even been able to get the water turned on because of it. The past tenets have left outstanding water bills so, now we have been stuck with a $200.00 water deposit. Which we cannot afford I am reaching out to every platform that I can to get our word out there, and with the hopes to receive a little bit of assistance. We don't even have power. Again, the same situation, the past tenets, have left outstanding bills. The power deposit is way out of reach at a $625.00 price tag. Again, we cannot not afford this with our everyday bills. We will continue to keep our word to our friend and make this place a great home for the right family. Even though it is very frustrating to try to make it happen without two of the important essentials in just living in everyday life, but to try to make it liveible for someone.
I am not certain this is what I was suppose to write here. I am just trying to get our story out there, in hopes to hopefully get pointed in a direction to maybe get some power and / or water in our place.
Thank you, for hearing our story. Have a blessed day!
Best Regards,
Tom and Debi

Jy'reece Mcewen is raised and cared for by his sole custodian, his mother Madison Mcewen. He lives in the home with male twin sibling Josiah. There have been many changes in routines and living arrangements for this family on multiple occasions. In March there was a severe storm that caused power outage to homes. When power was restored, it resulted in an electrical fire to the front portion of the home, destroying the kitchen and children’s bedroom. Any funds family had in savings went to replacing cribs and children’s personal items, food, and daily necessities. Ms. Mcewen at times travels more than 150 miles for a one-way trip for Jy’reece’s medical treatments and care: Jy'reece's cancer symptoms have been unpredictable and was recently diagnosed with a second condition of epilepsy and his seizures can occur at any time. This has led to changes in routines, such as disruptions to mealtimes, bedtime routines, and family activities. Jy’reece’s sibling has been encouraged and helped in adapting him to these changes, which has shown himself to be challenging for him. There has been an Increase to the caregiving responsibilities. Ms. Mcewen has had to devote a significant amount of time and attention to managing her child's seizures and medication regimen. She states it's emotionally and physically draining, which has impacted her ability to fulfill other obligations, such as work and household chores. She currently experiences stress, anxiety, and feelings of helplessness and guilt. Siblings are at times also affected by these emotions. Ms. Mcewen’s out of pocket expenses have increased and she has devoted efforts and seeks significant financial resources to manage household expenses, transportation costs and child's medical treatment not covered by private insurance. Ms. Ewen was denied disability stating, “she has not paid in enough.” This financial stress and strain are visibly noticeable as I viewed Ms. Mcewen before writing this referral. As well as the impact on sibling relationships. A sibling of a child with childhood cancer may feel neglected or left out due to the increased attention given to their sibling. Sibling age limits the visible effects as of date. But does show signs of anxiety and withdrawals from interaction. He may also start to show signs of feeling anxious or worried about his sibling's health. To mitigate the impact of Jy’reece treatment on this family, Norton Children's continues to communicate openly and honestly with family members. Through child healthcare providers, families attend support groups and work with mental health professional to help in managing the emotional impact of childhood cancer. Respite care, and temporary caregiving support are also being provided to offer a break from caregiving responsibilities. The family has shared there is no extended family members to offer help and has had no results in fund raising and shows no likings in crowd funding. This family cares for baby Jy'reece, 1-year-old male child with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and is facing many challenging circumstances. Managing seizures, his mother stays vigilant in monitoring his treatment before and after activity and administering rescue medication as needed. She has learned how to recognize different types of symptoms and how to respond to them appropriately. Medication management is needed for Jy'reece’s cancer treatment and often requires long-term medication to control the side effects. Parents/caregivers must ensure that he receives his medication on a consistent schedule, monitor for side effects, and work with providers to adjust medications as needed. Safety concerns added because of his seizures being unpredictable. Family needed to take extra precautions to ensure the child's safety. Thus far this has included baby-proofing the home, ensuring that the child always wears a helmet or protective gear, and avoids activities or environments that could trigger side effects. The emotional impact of watching their child experience cancer is emotionally challenging for the family. Grandmother, Amanda Swink, has also relocated to live in the home to help. She has voiced worrying about the child's safety and feels helpless and overwhelmed. She has been provided contact info on support groups to help cope with emotional impact. Financial concerns focused on eviction notice served 05/08/2023. Family currently noted having challenges accessing funds for day-to-day expenses, utilities, auto payment and insurance. Noted no insurance dating of fire incident March 2023. Current outstanding bills related to transportation, travel, and living costs related to changes in location of care and treatment for Jy'reece. Grandmother has greatly reduced her hours of employment and states she felt Jy'reece's diagnosis was her main concern. There are no other family members to balance caregiving responsibilities, and other obligations. Somerset Children’s Clinic strives for open communication, support, and has guided in seeking respite care to help mitigate the impact on family dynamics. Loss of income has resulted in impacting their financial stability and that of their family. The severity in the cost of care requires ongoing care and support, which has added to the financial burden. Reduced ability to work, the need to take time off from work has impacted their own financial stability and that of their family.

Hello,

My name is Chelsea and my husband and I have been dealt a very hard hand the past five years. We have two amazing boys, but after I had our second son 6 weeks early, I started having medical issues. At first i got a spinal headache due to the epidural. I had 12 blood patches, 3 lumbar punctures, and tried many different medications. Nothing helped. After 18 months the spinal headache turned into chronic (multiple time of day) headaches and a a continuous tension headache. I have since then had episodes where my entire body feels like it is full of sand and I cannot move without significant help and I am unable to talk, but I know what is going on. It feels like I am trapped in my own body. Thankfully those episodes only last about 45 minutes to an hour at this time, but nobody can find the cause. I also have idiopathic small fiber neuropathy. My youngest son has never known his mommy to not be in pain and my older son remembers when I was able to play so much more because I was not in pain. I have worked full time this entire time and have even gone back to school so that I can try and better our lives. I finally found out that I have Toxic Black Mold poisoning which had caused many of my symptoms, including not being able to eat and losing a significant amount of weight very quickly. I continued to work and go to school because I knew that I had to for my family. Due to my medical conditions, we live paycheck to paycheck which has been stressful but we have made it work. On March 21st, I was at work at got hit in the head with a steel desk door which gave me a very bad concussion. I was not allowed to go back to work until four days ago, but only for six hours at a time. Workers compensation barely paid me anything, so not only are we behind on payments, but we have the utility companies threatening to shut off our water. We have had to use credit cards to try and pay our bills but even those are not sufficient. Any amount would help us, it would help us to pay down the water bill or get groceries. I have never asked for help like this but I am to the point of desperation because of my children.  If you are able to help, I would be greatly appreciative. I know you want to remain anonymous and I greatly respect that. Thank you very much for your consideration. And God Bless you for doing what you are doing. There are not many people out there that would help people that they don't know.  Thank you again for your consideration.

Hello! I’m a single mother to a beautiful daughter. I was laid off due to the pandemic and struggling to make ends meet. My landlord issued a 30 days eviction notice and left us homeless, but with the kindness of a friend currently residing with. My daughter will be graduating in a few days, she’s very smart and is going off to college. We need help I didn’t know graduating costs would be so much. There’s so many things we need to pay for. Her cap and gown, deposit for her college seat, deposit for her dorms and more. It would be amazing to watch her walk and receive her diploma and go off to college. Hopefully you’d find it in your heart to help us out. Thank you for all that comes our way. God bless.

Good Morning,
My name is Shelly. In January 2023, I was diagnosed with non small cell lung cancer. In March, I had my right upper lobe of my lung removed along with a 5cm tumor within the lung. At that time, cancer was found in my lymph nodes and around my bronchial tubes. I am currently receiving chemotherapy and after that immunotherapy. I also suffer from severe Crohn's disease, which makes me a "complex case" as to how to treat both diseases. I live 100 miles (one way) to my treatment center, and am really struggling in paying for gas to get there as I drive an SUV and round trip costs about 100.00. I would be grateful to receive any help you can provide. What you are doing is amazing and God is shining down on you with many blessings!  Thank you for listening and may God Bless You!

No home, I'm only working part time because of classes I'm taking, and we are facing homelessness. Any little bit helps, even if it's just some money for food or a hotel for the night.

In need of a little assistance, just parted ways with my employer due to a lack of integrity. I have a 1 year old and a mortgage just little over a year old. Any little bit helps and I am in need of making ends meet.

I am 66 years old, on disability since 2011 and my house burned down. I had a heart attack in October. Although I had insurance on the house, I also had a mortgage. The bank took a majority of that money for the existing mortgage. The remainder was used to purchase a travel trailer so that I had a place to live. I literally had no clothes, toiletries, pots/pans, household goods, towels, etc. I am slowly trying to recover these items. I am on a fixed income and live alone. I would appreciate any help I can get. The money will be used for essentials since the house fire was a TOTAL and I lost a life time of everyday items. Thank you so much, Respectfully, Marion Hallee

We’re preparing to buy our first house. We recently relocated to a new and state. And trying to find stable housing within our budget hasn’t been easy. So now we’re looking to buy our first home instead. That way our children will have a safe place to call home

I have 2 children, my son is 14 and my daughter is 4. My daughter has a speech delay and severe separation anxiety. Which has me unable to work at this time. We are currently waiting for her evaluation to determine what’s causing the speech delay & on the waiting list for speech therapy.
I would use the money to take care of my children and pay my bills until I can get my daughter the help that she needs.
I have always been an extremely hard worker and have always been able to provide for my children.
This whole situation has me at a complete loss and I’m just not sure what else to do.

Anything that I can receive would be appreciated more than you will know.

Thank you

Good Day and Thank You so much for this website.  I'm looking for help with my utility bill.. 6 months ago I  fell on hard time and applied for assistance with the Burlington community action partnership  where their moto is " helping change lives " .
well they were not wrong.. the only thing is that mines was changes in a wrong way .. Im crying , I'm desperate, I'm in the dark with my five(5) children and don't know where to turn. I called 211 for assistance and was told that I already applied for assistance form in November with the same BACP non profit organization but their system stated the reason why it has not been honored by BACP is because they have no info regarding if I pay for heating in my PSEG utility bill or if I pay seperately..  now  keep in mined  that I have made at lease (5) 45min  walks to this agency requesting assistance and  HAVE giving ALL paperwork.. to now be in the dark with my children ... what am I going to do.. because I walked down there today requesting a confirmation # from them for the COPS to be called on me then they give the COPS A paper with the  same confirmation # that I was requesting on it .. for Me to then call PSEG for them to tell me they are NO longer accepting AGENCY PROMISES... HELP .. I tried .. I tried .. as I type this Im in the library using their computer.. PLEASE HELP .. My children cant go to school, I cant continue to Apply for  jobs even though I have not recived a call back

I was diagnosed w/Lymphoma while living at my 89 yr old mother in-laws house and my husband had a heart attack and died. Exhausted taking care of my grieving mother in-law while I'm sick to my stomach.  I am failing miserably and losing hope. I can't afford to even buy food and much needed supplements. I am trying to escape this negative, depressing situation.
