Comments: My fiancé and I recent got our own place together with out seven year old daughter and we recently found out we are expecting another child next year. We are 23 and 24 years old. We both recently had fairly good jobs in the working industry,however things seemed to have quickly gone down hill since being on our own. My fiancé was recently laid off from his job 2 days before his benefits were to kick in for our daughter and I was also let go from my job. Although I am starting a new job next week we have been playing catch up on our rent and bills in general the past few months and have managed to make ends meet, but at this point I won't even have the money to drive back and forth to work everyday. However it is now the middle of the month and we still have no rent money but the worst of our problems would be losing our water bill if it is not paid by the end of the month. We have tried every bank and loan agency we can f I nd and have not been approved either due to student loans or the break in employment. I have never done anything like this but we are completely out of options. I have finished nursing school and am hoping to take my boards soon but of course the test costs money which we are short on and must use for more emergent bills and food. Any help would be great. We have looked and looked for options for loans but it seems we cannot get the chance to be approved. We are more than willing to pay back any assistance we receive or at the very least, pay it forward some day. This is the scariest thing I have ever encountered. We just want to give our children the lives they deserve.
Comments: I am a single mom raising 2 girls all on my own. I left a very abusive marriage of almost 20 years to provide a better future for my daughters. I moved in with my mother as a temporary stay but then ended up staying with her for almost 6 years taking care of her until she passed away unexpectedly. She had a reverse mortgage on her house so we have now had to move twice in the past year. I am the only income in my house and we have gotten behind on our electric bill because of the start- up/shut off fees. I am asking for help with our electric bill because if I can get help to get caught up I will be able to stay caught up (hopefully) and it is our only source of heat as well. I have been doing alright for 2 years with my check of 733.00 a month but between rent, higher light bills and water bills and borrowing from Peter to pay Paul I had worked myself into a bind.My light bill was 180.00 ,last month and just got it paid and another came in.But I have got a week behind on my rent,and will be 2 weeks tomorrow.I am afraid I will get evicted,then my granddaughter will get put in foster care.I hate asking for help,but I have called 50 or more agencies,including her case worker and her school,to no avail.I can't get help anywhere.So I am asking to please help me get back on my feet I owe 115.00,now and another 115.00,tommorrow.I then every week till 1st.They only charge by week,if there's 4 weeks,it's 460,if 5 weeks in month,its 575. I'm just so upset ,I suffer from manic depression and I try so hard to not get behind but with the light bills so high and water,I just had borrowed so much and I had to buy her shoes and things. I am just so overwhelmed and I would appreciate any help I can get.I will be forever grateful.Thank You so much for listening.Sherry

Comments: About 2 months ago I got sick and lost my job. I couldn't afford rent at my apartment so I decided to move in with my boyfriend. His parents were paying the bills for us because he is very ill and can't get a job. When they found out he was gay and had a live-in boyfriend, they stopped paying the bills without telling us. We will be getting an eviction notice in about a day or 2 if we don't pay rent, which is about $500 and our electricity will e shut off tomorrow.

Comments: My husband has been in the hospital every week for the last 2 months and been through multiple tests....had and angiogram,angioplasty,had an endoscopy, etc. They don't know why he's having the health issues. Needless to say he spends most of his time in bed. We started a business in June so our teenage sons would have work. But due to all the rain this summer and his inability to work we fell far behind. It's our only source of income. So any help would truly make a difference and be extremely appreciated.

Comments: Hello, I have been served an eviction. I have been spending the time I have had to try to arrange for back rent. I moved in on a housing program that aided with rent. It ended abruptly and I have been on the brink of ruin since. If I am able to find assistance to help with any portion of the back rent I am able to pay the current months rent. I am also able to budget future rent. My outstanding rent is 465.00 with a 15.00 dollar late fee. I am looking through various other options. I had a volunteer case worker from a local non-profit assisting me, however her husband took ill. I missed an interview that may have been able to cover a portion of the rent. I wanted to start off by saying I think what you guys do is amazing and the greatest thing I've ever seen. My wish is to have help with our heating bill, my son and I both live with my fiancee which is his father. He works at a metal fabrication company they have been really slow with work being with winters coming. Our son was very sick after a week being Born January 13th 2015 with RSV so he gets sick easily now and we are $600 behind our bill for heating. We now only have 2 little space heater to keep the whole trailer warm which takes alot. The Nebraska energy assistance wouldn't help because there's no serious illness involved they said, I tried everything and we are stuck and have no other choice. I wish for this wish to come through. It would be a god's miracle happening.
Comments: Hello Everyone, My names Alexander Castillo and im relatively new to the Fresno area. A life long friend of 25 years saved my life by moving me down from Oakland, Ca. After being layed off from Sears due to a riot everything crumbled for me. I soon became homeless and as a single father raising my daughter alone i was forced to give her to her mothers family, I have no family. My decision to move was an excellent idea. Yet the misfortune not only continued for myself but for her and her family as well. Unable to find work just odd jobs she has supported me not only financially, but spiritually and emotionally as well. Recently, my friend had CPS take all five of her children due to a family member in the household whom shouldnt have been there. With the loss of her children she to collapsed and was forced to move from her home as well. Through all this turmoil she has managed to still teach for Fresno Unified School District despite the barriers she faces. NetWish is not only an opportunity for a new chance at life but it gives those of us who have given up a bright light at the end of the darkened tunnel. Id be able to put the money down on a place for not only my daughter but for her five children as well. Thats the o ky thi g from preventing my friend from her children is a stable place to live. I could buy proper interview clothing and take care of the bills i couldnt pay and i could pay my friend whos been my god send...thank you and god bless you all
