Comments: About 2 months ago I got sick and lost my job. I couldn't afford rent at my apartment so I decided to move in with my boyfriend. His parents were paying the bills for us because he is very ill and can't get a job. When they found out he was gay and had a live-in boyfriend, they stopped paying the bills without telling us. We will be getting an eviction notice in about a day or 2 if we don't pay rent, which is about $500 and our electricity will e shut off tomorrow.

Comments: My husband has been in the hospital every week for the last 2 months and been through multiple tests....had and angiogram,angioplasty,had an endoscopy, etc. They don't know why he's having the health issues. Needless to say he spends most of his time in bed. We started a business in June so our teenage sons would have work. But due to all the rain this summer and his inability to work we fell far behind. It's our only source of income. So any help would truly make a difference and be extremely appreciated.

Comments: Hello, I have been served an eviction. I have been spending the time I have had to try to arrange for back rent. I moved in on a housing program that aided with rent. It ended abruptly and I have been on the brink of ruin since. If I am able to find assistance to help with any portion of the back rent I am able to pay the current months rent. I am also able to budget future rent. My outstanding rent is 465.00 with a 15.00 dollar late fee. I am looking through various other options. I had a volunteer case worker from a local non-profit assisting me, however her husband took ill. I missed an interview that may have been able to cover a portion of the rent. Now I am on a dead line. I have been served.I am mentally disabled and I don't know just how facing homelessness will affect me. Please consider assisting me. Every bit helps. David Redden

Comments: Hello Netwish, My name is Kassondra Fernau, I am a stay at home mother of a 1.5 year old son named Eli Stark. I wanted to start off by saying I think what you guys do is amazing and the greatest thing I've ever seen. My wish is to have help with our heating bill, my son and I both live with my fiancee which is his father. He works at a metal fabrication company they have been really slow with work being with winters coming. Our son was very sick after a week being Born January 13th 2015 with RSV so he gets sick easily now and we are $600 behind our bill for heating. We now only have 2 little space heater to keep the whole trailer warm which takes alot. The Nebraska energy assistance wouldn't help because there's no serious illness involved they said, I tried everything and we are stuck and have no other choice. I wish for this wish to come through. It would be a god's miracle happening.
Comments: Hello Everyone, My names Alexander Castillo and im relatively new to the Fresno area. A life long friend of 25 years saved my life by moving me down from Oakland, Ca. After being layed off from Sears due to a riot everything crumbled for me. I soon became homeless and as a single father raising my daughter alone i was forced to give her to her mothers family, I have no family. My decision to move was an excellent idea. Yet the misfortune not only continued for myself but for her and her family as well. Unable to find work just odd jobs she has supported me not only financially, but spiritually and emotionally as well. Recently, my friend had CPS take all five of her children due to a family member in the household whom shouldnt have been there. With the loss of her children she to collapsed and was forced to move from her home as well. Through all this turmoil she has managed to still teach for Fresno Unified School District despite the barriers she faces. NetWish is not only an opportunity for a new chance at life but it gives those of us who have given up a bright light at the end of the darkened tunnel. Id be able to put the money down on a place for not only my daughter but for her five children as well. Thats the o ky thi g from preventing my friend from her children is a stable place to live. I could buy proper interview clothing and take care of the bills i couldnt pay and i could pay my friend whos been my god send...thank you and god bless you all

Comments: Hello my name is terica I am a single mother of four children we recently moved here from California where I chose to go back to school so I could obtain my RN Healthcare is my passion unfortunately due to a very abusive relationship I moved myself and my children here to Utah or we had previously lived here when I was younger as a foster child I felt Utah would be a better environment for my children and myself and I can continue was that great opportunities there are two obtain my dream of becoming an RN unfortunately my abuser followed me this last year and a half has been very difficult I've been in and out of the hospital my children I have moved several times at one point and a shelter 42 mastic violence victims I have been truly blessed my children and I we're approved for housing 2 months ago I have been in therapy for a year do to me being diagnosed with PTSD anxiety fibromyalgia carpal tunnel severe depression I feel as though I would time for me to push myself hard set a good example for my children and go back to school to finish I know that will be a wonderful opportunity for me to better myself and my family unfortunately due to the current circumstances I am unable to afford to register my vehicle which going to be around $200 including the emissions inspections I also have $64 power and will be short about $138 on my car payment I am truly grateful for this opportunity to share my story I am so very grateful for the opportunity to have learned about you guys we have little to no family not much of a support system both of my daughters birthdays are this month I was truly thinking my FASFA and schooling situation would have been a much smoother process I am so overwhelmed stressed out and lost I truly hope my prayers will be answered and somebody will hold out their hands and just help us over this little hump I am so grateful for all that you guys do thank you ..

I am a 33yr old single mother of 2 beautiful girls (10 months&14yrs). Also, I am the sole caregiver of my 64yr old paraplegic father who has serious heart conditions as well as other health conditions. These three are very dependant on me for their well being, their livelihood, their health, and for everything. Everything from their meals, their baths, their Doctor visits, schooling, and even their entertainment everyday depends solely on myself. I have worked at Hobby Lobby since 2012. And our family depends on my income from my job and my father's income of his disability benefits to survive from day to day. Unfortunately, back in the middle of May 2016, my vehicle started giving me huge problems. Causing me and my family to be stranded time and time again. We had no choice but to continue to put faith in the only vehicle we had. It caused me to be late to work repeatedly, and caused me to miss days of work. My job worked with me as much as they possibly could due to the years I had been there as well as my dependability. The condition of my vehicles health worsened over time. It had become questionable if it would make it from point A to point B from day to day. Still, my job tried to work with me. They offered me time off until i could get the problem fixed. But I could not take them up in that offer being that my family depended on the income. In August, my vehicle broke down on a particular day, and a friend got it back driving, and I broke down the following day, and a friend tried to fix it again, and it broke down on me once again while I was on lunch break. And ultimately I lost my job. I have been trying to find means to get another vehicle, or to even get the one that I have fixed, and just trying to keep our heads afloat since then. The water has been cut off once or twice, and the rent has been late. And recently the electricity was disconnected. And I the water and the gas is next in line in the disconnect list. I have been trying to acquire assistance from community agencies, but I'm not sure if it is because I am new at these kind of things or just pure bad timing or bad luck, but I have heard a hundred times from several Peoole " that there is nothing we can do for you" My friend apparently has asked around and was able to get her church to give $100 towards our electric. I am out of options. All agencies in my area are either out of funds or there is " nothing they can do. I have even camped out at one organization. Still no luck. I am praying for a miracle. I have faith. I have hope. If you are reading this, please join me and say a prayer! Because our family needs it! And I appreciate anyone even taking the time out to read my story! Thank-you for your attention! And we are so appreciative of any prayers! If you have any advice please share it! I do not have experience with these kinds of things, so this has been a very stressful time. Very scary. And having three dependants that are expecting nothing but survival, and knowing that I have failed them is a very hard pill to swallow and deal with. My electric at Murfreesboro Electric is $438.00 and with $100 towards it from my friends church family, that leaves $338 in electric that I do not have, along with $98.00 water bill and $72.00 gas bill. Comments: Hello my name is Hermione Wallace my family and I have been displaced since November 2015. I am disable I have been managing to keep some sort of a roof over my kids head,as well as being in a high risk pregnancy.I had an emergency c-section on August 18th 2016 which resulted in my baby boy being 5wks premature. A few weeks later I had to be rushed back to an Emergency Room do to a hematoma in my c-section area which caused for an emergency surgery in the ER. With all going on this last month I was unable to pay my whole storage bill which encountered late fees which has all our memories plus everything we own (my now 3 kids and I.) We have no close relatives since my mom and grandma both died in 2010. All I'm asking is if someone could help pay my storage off unfortunately it is due today 9/28/16 by 10am. I receive housing and food assistance so I normally can manage my bills okay. However recently my two sisters have been very ill with cancer. It seems impossible that both of them came down with cancer about the same time. My middle sister just passed away from liver cancer and my baby sister is still fighting lung cancer with chemotherapy and radiation. I've been spending time at the hospital and I've been there to help throughout their sickness and death. They live about 50 miles away from me, My car has broken down and I've gotten behind on a couple of my utility bills. It's been very difficult for the past 2 months however my baby sister just finished her treatments and we're about to find out through her pep scan if the radiation and chemotherapy was successful. Now it's time to get my house in order. My request is for $130 to buy the part to fix my car. I have someone who will do the repair for me. I also have a need for $110.00 on a reliant electric bill and an $85.00 water bill. I'm so embarrassed to ask for so much assistance but any way that you could help would surely be appreciated. Even if it's only a part of what I need it would greatly help me get back on my feet. Thank you for considering my plea.
