Comments: I'm 65 years of age and financially forced to accept my SS early. I care for my youngest brother whom after 3yrs with me has received his disability approval. I have struggled financially all this time, I receive food stamps and am considered medically needy and receive Medicaid. At the end of the day my income allows me $8.60 daily for miscellaneous eccentials, i.e., gas,tp, toothpaste, soaps, etc. I could use a little help with my rent, power bill, or water... any consideration would lighten my heart tremendously! Comments: Of assistance because I have a tooth that needs to be restricted. My boyfriend is on a fixed income . he is a Veterans On a fixed income. I get a few dollars to take care of my grand-daughter every once in awhile but it doesn't make ends meet

Comments: I am 73 years old living with my disabled daughter and her two autistic children. Just diagnosed with lung cancer and having chemo weekly and radiation daily. Very limited disability income for all 4 of us is only $2500 per month. Receiving total of $175 per month in food stamps thru snap program. Transportation cost is taking a lot to go back and forth daily for treatment. After rent, utilities, laundry, food, and daily necessities, also have to pay Medicare premium. Gasoline and food is really needed. Anything you can do will be greatly appreciated.

The old trailer she left me with ive managed to get half way remodeled.. But now with my own health dwindling away.. I may never get it to completion. Comments: Hello, It is with a heavy heart that I send this request. I am a single mother of 3; 15yo, 11yo and 7yo; I had an emergency hysterectomy on May 10, 2019 and was out of work for 4 weeks. I was not paid during my recovery because I had just started a new job and was still within my 90 day probationary period. I paid half my $1250 rent in June and now owe July. I received an eviction notice today. I do not qualify for any local or government assistance because when I do work my gross pay exceeds qualifying amounts. My bank account is in a repetitive cycle of being in the negative, when I do get paid I'm left about $200 to pay bills and buy groceries. I'm at a lost I have not been in this situation before.

We are struggling with a landlord who is trying not to fix necessary things to help enable my disabled husband an daughter to get through the house easier. Our daughter is 6 years old she has Cerebral Palsy an requires the use of a wheelchair. We have asked with his assistance on fixing the front steps of the house to install a ramp so it's easier to get her in an out of the house. His response was " Don't nickle an dime me" for issues that aren't my concern. This is heartbreaking to me. Her life is a struggle all it's own an I don't feel getting in an out of the house should have to be one of them. Thank you for this opportunity an the chance to make a little girls day brighter.

Comments: Hi my name is Cindy I'm 55 I'm on disability I live with my daughter her son and a roommate and every other month we don't have food everything on disability goes to rent I would love to get a break doesn't that's God's will I hope mother daughter babysit because we can't afford child care so much for kids to help out its Community effort I'm planning on going back to get some retraining so I can get to work around my disabilities I seen this netwish but I apply however I think it's a great program even if I don't get help it's nice to read positive things faith sometimes only thing that keeps me going and we love of God how much for three years and then we did shared housing so I'm grateful to have a roof over my head but takes everything all the disability check goes to rent and bills it's not always an option do you have groceries or luxuries of household items. I'm grateful to have a roof over my head but here I try can't hurt it's nice to know people care I never gave up on faith or hope it's every other month wondering if we're going to have a home stressful Portland really high on rent low on compassion and kindness. It would be nice for one month not to have to worry about having a little extra food for the grandbabies to come over here my daughters are hard workers goes to just making ends meet it takes a village it sure does Child Care is not affordable in our family! I'm proud grandma but I want to get into a program they have here to help me get back in to overcome many obstacles to be part of the society she worked for my pains job training skills School affordable housing which is almost impossible in Portland play the waiting list for over 4 years for public housing and the numbers keep changing Anthony elsass to me hope that there are people that actually care it's nice to see there's places that help out to in dollars of when you have nothing lifetime's go to bed hungry so the kids have food Chris for children were all raising together ages 11 to 8 and twins that are 3 my roommates 63 on disability he's Papa he rents a room my daughter and I we split $2,000 a month rent at 3 way split babysitting for my other daughter so she can afford her place. Child care facilities aren't an option. the landlord has our money and that's a blessing. Augest our lease is up Raising it up to 7 percent. Our disability checks do not go up 7% A roof I look forward to the future there's a program in Portland that works with people to overcome obstacles I'm signing up its call relay services praying for miracle online with dedication jump training teacher work to get off disability or supplement part time work at work go back to school for education to better my situation.
