Comments: I'm having a hard time getting housing for me and my daughter and her dog! I've been battling crohns disease for 27yrs. I've been on housing had waited on the list over two yrs. Finally when I received the certificate I was promised a apt the ladies TOLD me I was accepted three months in a row by the time my certification ran out and I never got help! I've been thru multiple surgeries and have a ostostmy bag! Now I'm left homeless and am scared I will not make it in the cold! Both me and !y daughter have lost our man and don't know where to turn! I've always been strong and kept my faith that something would work out! But I'm seriously lost for words and don't know what to do or think! I'm scared and never had any of these things TO deal with! Hope some how GOD WILL be able to me and my daughter and faith alive! I deal with chronic pain on a daily basis and I'm feeling pretty lost for words and don't know what else to do anymore đ„

I had to do this because I allowed my daughter to use my name for power and when she moved to another state she shut off the power. When I got my bill it was almost $4000. The power co.wanted 750. to keep my power on, I couldn't afford that. I only get $771. a month. My stove's oven ignition switch went out 3 months ago. I notified my landlord but he still has not replaced/fixed it . I do not know if the landlord hasn't taken of it due to me being behind on rent or what the problem is. So, I am asking for NetWish to help me buy a stove. Used is fine with me. I would greatly appreciate the help since I cannot afford one myself.

Comments: I have looked high and low and have found that true help is very hard to find. I finally ran across this site and am amazed that there are still good hearted people in this world. I knew there were because my husband is one of the most selfless people I've ever known. Best day ever for him was day he called me in tears to let me know he was stopping at store to buy some food for homeless guy he had seen at the light on his lunch break and had reached his extra sandwich out the window to him and the man dropped the sign and devoured the sandwich with tears in his eyes. My husband pulled into work and sat in parking lot and cried as he prayed for the man he had seen and thanked the lord for the ability to bless him that day in such a little and meaningful way. When he left work the man was still there and happened to be beside grocery store and my husband asked if he would follow him in so he could pick out some foods he liked. As I hung up I cried as well and thanked GOD for letting me marry at 34 a man of love and giving nature with a caring soul I am still with that man and have seen him do many great deeds and at times even became frustrated that it would cause us to be in a jam but he always said that when we needed it there would be the same for us because God does not bless us to be greedy or selfish but instead so we can bless others through the riches he Grace's us with. Although we are now in a terribly scary financial situation that has caused me to fear we will soon lose everything. Not that we have much to lose but we have a young child and and my husband works very very hard and feels like we will never be able to at least be stable again. I have not slept in weeks. Well it's actually been months as things have gotten worse and I am disheartened at the strain I have seen it put on my husband, myself and our relationship. I am sure we will not be able to give our 4yr old a christmas this year but I am more concerned with the 50 dollar water bill and the past due electric bill and the fact my husbands job is seasonal. We only have one car and cannot afford child care. It has become frustrating and almost feels hopeless but seeing stories like these makes me feel there may still be hope and that we shouldn't give up just yet. I hope the man who wants to remain anonymous continues to receive many blessings for the works he is doing and hope he is bringing to people and families in America. I pray there were and one day is more like you. If we are one of the lucky people to get help from you I would not only be forever grateful but I can only hope that one day we are able to help others in this same way you are helping people. My husband always says if we ever won lottery that he would do this same thing with the money. The thing is that not only can we not ever afford the lottery.lol but I just dont see that we could be lucky enough to win. I do think the state of s.c. using their lottery earnings for education costs is an awesome thing though. More states should do this and use funds to maybe assist those in need. Just a thought. Comments: I AM MARRIED AND WE HAVE AN 11 YR OLD DAUGHTER. MY HUSBAND GOT AN INFECTION IN HIS SPINAL CORD THAT SPREAD TO HIS BLOOD STREAM AND THEN HIS VERTIBRATE AND TISSUE IN HIS LOWER BACK. HE HAS BEEN HOSPITALIZED SINCE SEPT. 25TH AND WONT BE ABLE TO LEAVE UNTIL NOV. 23RD IF ALL GOES WELL. HE HAS HAD SURGERY TO REMOVE MOST OF THE INFECTION BUT THERE WAS A POINT A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO WHERE WE THOUGHT HE WASNT GOING TO MAKE IT THROUGH THIS. WE WERE RENTING A ROOM FROM SOMEONE AND MY HUSBAND WAS WORKING TAKING CARE OF US PRIOR TO HIM GETTING SICK. THE GUY WE RENTED FROM SAID HE HAD TO MOVE HIS NEPHEW IN SO I HAD TO GET OUR STUFF OUT. I AM DISABLED AND GOING THROUGH THE DISABILITY PROCESS OF MY FIRST APPEAL NOW. WE GOT APPROVED FOR A HOUSING PROGRAM THAT IS HELPING US FIND AN APARTMENT AND IS GOING TO PAY THE RENT UNTIL MY HUSBAND CAN GET BACK TO WORK. I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT HE LOST THE ABILITY TO WALK SINCE HE GOT SICK. THE PROBLEM IS IS THAT IT IS GONNA BE APROXIMATELY TWO MORE WEEKS BEFORE WE CAN GET OUR APARTMENT. MY DAUGHTER HAS BEEN STAYING WITH HER FRIEND AT HER PARENTS HOUSE THAT SHE GOES TO SCHOOL WITH TO HELP OUT AND IVE STAYED AT THE HOSPITAL WITH MY HUSBAND. NEITHER ONE OF US HAVE FAMILY HERE. NOW IM HAVING ISSUES WITH THE FRIENDS PARENT ABOUT MY DAUGHTER STAYING THERE ANY LONGER. SO IM ASKING FOR HELP WITH A HOTEL ROOM FOR TWO WEEKS SO I CAN HAVE A PLACE FOR MY DAUGHTER AND I TO STAY UNTIL WE GET THE APPROVAL OF AN APARTMENT. I HAVE ABOSUTELY NO CASH OR BANK ACCOUNT OR HELP. Comments: We are praying for help. We have been homeless for over a month. My wife is coming down sick. We Ned help getting on our feet so we can fight for our son. We have him at my parents house but cps is still fighting us.They have caused stresses for us at work causing loss of wages. Which ended up resulting in being laid off. We did all they asked the 1st time. My wife had a slight drinking problem which was worse 4 years prior when she lost her mother. She had to pull the plug on her which took a huge toll on her. My wife no longer drinks over a year now. Just as they closed our case they opened another. They over a speculated an argument the mrs and I had. Financial burdens take a toll on everyone Their solution was to tell me to not come home while im at work. My wife did not agree either with that decision. We lived at my parents during that time. My wife told them that splitting up the family is not helping the family but would make it worse. She came with me so we can fight together. One thing after another kept coming in against us. Before I was forced to leave my home my father had a stroke beginning of the year. I was ready to take on what was needed to keep the house on track. Stresses took a toll due to financial problems that I was staying out late 2orking on my truck. I didn't want to bring my worries home. My wife thought I was cheating but that was thanks ro whoever filled her head with that. It caused arguments. Which lead school counselor calling cps. They believe no one argues ever. Someone was sabotaging my wife's car so she couldn't make it to work or court dates. I thought she was making it up until she showed me camera footage on her hidden camera. We moved from that extended stay to argues other where more clever individuals had a key to our room. I thought she was losing her mind until I saw it for myself. September I lost my job due to downsizing and my attendance thanks to cps. Same month my brother inlaw was shot. He succumbed to his injuries the day after my wife birthday. We lost our home week before that. We live in our car with our cat. We are fighting hard but need help. The shelters are full and we have been robbed and attacked. We need help with a weekly stay hotel so we can access clean showers and needed rest at night. We have a plan. We will do daily labor jobs and stack up the money for future rent. Also get my truck inspected, renew insurance and much needed shoes. We donated plasma but no longer can. We call it our dark passenger. We were diagnoses with hepatitis. We need to get more tests to see which one. We don't do needles or step outside our marriage. We believe it's possible we caught it at the shelter when we got cut. We are fighting the good fight but can't get ahead. We need this one time boost to help. If we could only get that then we can make it. A week motel or hotel is needed. Maybe gas or help with registration but hoping to do that ourselve . We dig in carwash vacuum for change that was sucked up not put in for use. We help others even when we don't have the means. He's blocked me from calling him. I began a job two weeks ago and my car got repossessed my 2nd day at work. I've borrowed money from my son to pay for a room, but come Tuesday, I will no longer have a room. I don't get paid until Thursday and really need to use my paycheck as a down payment on a vehicle, so I can get to work. My room will take over half of my paycheck and I won't be able to afford to pay for transportation all week. I have no one to ask for help. I have been praying for God to intervene. My car decided to finally give out on me over the summer so when returning to school , I didnât have a car . After two months into the semester , my mom got me a used car . However now that car has put me down as well and needs to be fixed because it has been sitting and needs some mechanic work. However neither do I or my parents have enough money to put it in the shop and actually get fixed . With all the mechanic work that needs to be done , it amounts up to $200. I could really use any blessing with helping me get my car back on the road. I have been late to work everyday even when catching public transportation and I also havenât been able to make it back home and visit my family in about a month because of myself working, being a RA and also not having any transportation to get back. Comments: I'm legally blind because of my eye disease called retinitis pigmentosa. I had also been homeless for about a year. Well not anymore! Even though I am legally blind I try to live as independently as possible. I do all I can. I work and I walk to that job. Well I've recently found a place to live, bit they have cut my work hours to 9 or 10 hours a week and though I have been able to pay my rent, I haven't been able to get the electricity switched from my landlord's to my name but he says it has to be done now. I am praying I don't end back on the streets because of this.. I'm really trying. I lost my mama in April and it has just been rough. I pray you find it in your heart to bless me..

We've been making due by microwaving water to bathe and take good care of ourselves, but it has been very difficult having an infant and it being flu season. I have 3 screws in hip and my employer has no workmans compensation. My rent is due in a few days. I pay weekly rent of 280.00 at a efficiency room.
