Comments: Hello, This is a hard request to make. I have always been on the other side of situations like these. I have been a volunteer as well as a 4 year employee to a food shelf helping a great number of people in my own community..with that being said...I too am in need of some de sperate help.Due to many health issues I have been unable to work...I now am and actively seeking daily. The crisis I am currently dealing with is very needed essentials at home. I have always been the one in my home to taking care of others financially.. My 2 adult children are now taking over 100% . My 31 yr old daughter Whittney on social security and my son 25 yrs old andrwe is working 2jobs I also have my 13 yr old grandson here living at home. It has been an emotional ride for all of us. What we are really in need of May sound simple but to us it means mountains. We need daily items such as toilet paper, denture cream, toothpaste,laundry soap,cleaning items and pet food and any needed school supplies for my grandson(socks and underwear)these are things I cannot buy with my foodstamps. I know this may not sound as a great need compared to others but for us every time we have goes to keeping a roof over our head and lights on. I recently gave up my cell phone to help financlly. Please help us if able... A gift card to walmart/target will mean the world.

Comments: I think I uploaded my wish.i wish that I could go see my dad in the hospital. He lost his leg and nearly his life to an infection. It's 94 miles one way and I'm completely broke.i have chiari malformation and with it is severe symptoms.im slowly being paralized and one day won't wake up from respatory failure in my sleep because my brain forgot to tell my lungs to breathe. It might be the last I see him ever. Since neither one of us are doing too well. If I couldn't see him, I'd like to send him a gift basket either way, just to let him know I do care. Or try. Comments: Hi,My name's Michelle. I'm 36 yrs old and going through a divorce with my husband of 9 yrs married but a total of 18 yrs together. He kicked me out of our home to move another women in and since then I've been homeless. I have amazing friends who helped me and didn't allow me to sleep outside. I also got the the car in separation that was on its last leg while he drove our New Ford 250 we just bought. So no home and a car that's about to blow im at my lowest. Then things started looking up. I was re ended in car and was paid more than car was worth so I bought a new Gmc Yukon. Finally had a place to live then everything went right back to the ground. Lost my truck so had to borrow a friends car to go to court in Skagit county. It was Nov. 19th. Wenatchee was having that bad snow storm. So I made out of town passed Cole's corner on Stevens Pass and it was snowing hard .. About 10 last Cole's Corner all I remember is screaming in pain. I was hit head on from a vehicle coming the opposite direction. I was in pain. I dislocated my ankle and broke it as well. Bruising all over and cuts. After 2 hr ride down mountain to Wenatchee hospital I had calmed a little bit in pain. So here I am today broken left foot, broken right foot as well with hair line fracture !uckly. Got 16 stitches in my leg and 2 surgeries down. I'm broken and need help. I have nowhere to go as of tomorrow and I can't stay on street with broken feet. I would love help getting an apartment and maybe some furniture. I would be beyond blessed and Thankful. God bless

Comments: I relocated to Portage Indiana over the holidays to my son's home. I have been without my family for over 2 years. Money is tight and there is no room for even a candy bar. My youngest daughter who is 16 moved as well a few months ago. I am seeking employment but have found nothing yet. My daughter is begging to go to the winter dance at school but we don't have the$30 to buy her ticket or money for a dress and shoes to wear. It is a semi formal dance and my dream is to make this a night for her to remember.

Comments: Hi. My wife and I have fell into hard times. She doesn't work cuz she has 6 screws a cage and a couple artificial discs in her neck. We have been fighting for disability for her and as for me. I had carpal tunnel surgery on both of my hands. I was out of work for 8 months and we fell behind on rent and utilities. Comments: Me and my husband are so stuck a lot of stress unhappy relationship fight all the time, because we don't know what to do. On may 2019 he have a surgery for his spine core and find out he have a blood disease so he is on medication all the time. We try everything to find a job for him but the problem he is 60 years old with a lot of experience in construction but no one hired him. I not working because I'm not a citizen I'm in the process getting a green card but it take time to wait, I try to find some private owner so I can help my husband to pay something but nothing is working. Our rent bill, our utility bill, phone bill we are just look at it we don't know how to pay. I didn't stop looking I try online job it not working for me because English is my second language their are words it hard to understand it is so stress. So my husband work as a temporary job pay same day it good but it not enough to cover everything. I hate myself to see him took off early morning for work but his health conditions is not 100% strong to go working. I thankful to one program here that help for our utility bill without them right now we have no water. Yeah that my story we are fighting for our life but I got to be strong and keep on coming maybe will be something happen will cover everything.

Comments: On Oct 12th 2019, I went into the Emergency Room to be checked up on for what the doctors had told me were just allergies. After having blood test ran to find what was wrong, I received a diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia. I had no time to prepare or get ready for this long journey, I was immediately checked into the hospital to begin Chemotherapy to fight the cancer. During my stay for treatment we also lost our home and have been staying in lodging nearby, not knowing if the next day well have a roof over our heads. I am looking at a long fight ahead of me and desperately need any help I can get.

Comments: I applied for kn some help a few weeks ago some help with school clothes, underwear socks, etc. for our great nephew that we have custody of since he was 7 months old. He's 7 next month. We were also hoping to get just a little biost to help him have a decent Christmas. I'm on disability since 2009 my husband works full time as a corrections officer and when I had to stop working we basically lost half of our income. I haven't heard from you guys, however when I see and read some of the stories on this website I just wanted to say if there were fmoreorganizations like yours so so many people would be so much more inclined to give to pay it forward when they could. Thank you for reading my wush and for giving for no other reason than it's a blessing for so many people and it's a blessing that you are willing and able to do such awesome things that make a huge difference in people's lives and attitudes. Comments: Hi my name is James Callahan I live in Mattapan Massachusettsi . in last10 year's i had 8 Surgeries i had 2 Surgeries on my left knee and 2 surgeries on my right in 2009 and 2010 I was laying out for two years on my knees fun work had a hard time walking just in used to kill me in and out of the hospital getting therapy signs of feel good 2012 and in 2014 I got stage 4 breast cancer the last few years after that was real bad mm 19th had four strokes right to this day December 2019. I am behing on my Boston water and sewer and my Gas heat my electric i s like $350 dollars water i owe $7000 and Gas about $300 . i am on SSDI going for 3 years and i get $885 dollars a months. I don't Cable because i can't afford it i can't even afford a car and i am behind on my property Taxes . Sometimes i don't know what to do it's so hard . Took me 10 too get Disability . Do if it wasn't for my parents for leaving me the house but probably going to have to get rid of it because I can't afford it and I've been here all my life I don't know what to do hopefully this will help with a smile on my face but if not thank you anyways I hope you have a merry Christmas and a happy New Year James Callahan thank you God bles

I have a daughter that is being sentenced to 3 years in prison and I am taking care of her children. They have little too nothing I have bought for them what I can afford for them. I have there grandfather at home as well too take care of as well. I'm not big on asking for charity. I would just love to have a family Christmas where my grandchildren can have a Christmas gift and the joy of love this year. And with them being placed with me was thanks and joy enough for my Christmas. I would love this Christmas to give the gift back to my grandchildren.
