Comments: I am a mother of 2, with a husband who had been recently out of work due to a layoff with his company along with the rising cases of Covid here in hawaii. Hawaii is very very expensive to live, and being that i am the only parent working as of right now i have become back on my electric payment in result of juggling all other utilities and rent. My current bill is at $900.00, and i have been working with my electric company and have a payment plan set up, which has been a relief, except my sons tuition bill just came in to add to the stress which totals $232.00 / monthly. I normally never believe in sites like the this, but as desperate as i feel i am here hoping for some kind of hope. Thank you to everyone who has took the time out to read this. whether help is received, i hope and pray that everyone continues to stay blessed no matter the obstacles the world may throw at us. Comments: I have 2 adult daughters with special needs and I have been out of work since 2006, due to Workers' Comp injuries and chronic pain. My partner works in retail and is the sole income. We are barely able to scrape up rent and basic utilities every month. We've been living on ramen and pb&j for years. Our water heater just died and the lowest quote we have gotten for replacement is $1,749. That's more than rent and all our utilities combined! We are technically low enough income for public assistance, but they keep denying us, because our rent is so much lower than the local average. I'm at my wits end trying to find a way to get this replacement funded.
Comments: I am a single mom with several health issues. I had a light bill at my old residence due to a water leak up under the house that I wasn't aware of. Once I moved trying to get utilities at the new residence I couldn't get lights turned on because of this old bill. I tried several places, churches, social services, 211 program, reach program, the fig program, etc but no one will help. I got the city to do an adjustment because I wasn't aware of this old bill that was back in 2014. I have been sick, hospitalized due to blood clots in both lungs, I have asthma, and sugar diabetes, I suffer every day in this heat, or in my car trying to stay cool. I want someone to help me get my lights on so I can have a safe place to lay our heads. I don't know what else to do. I'm at the end of my road if no one here can help me. Thank you so much. Comments: I'm a single mom of 7. I had to stop working because of my health. I have Fibromyalgia and I'm severely anemic. At time I fall asleep wherever I'm standing, sitting. I fell behind on rent electric and my water. Im asking for help so that the little income i have I can buy my kids school clothes, sneakers and supplies because they honestly have nothing. Im slowly losing my battle. I no longer have hope because every place I've asked for help said funding not available.

Comments: Hi..my name is Marguerite.and I've been struggling for a very love ng time..I basically have none to lean..I've been to prison quit a few times n just recently got out in 2019 went straight to a homeless shelter.from there to the streets n some how got into a wreck n with that money for a car...I live in my car with my cat..sometimes were hungry thirsty n always hot if we have no gas no ac...just recently I was awarded ssi but my check only last like not even 5day...I like to actually let the water hit me than just rag or wipe down it really doesn't give me confidence to do anything...its very hardbecuz I don't know where to go how to go or no one to talk to or ask.I have no money for gas.or a motel.I need to pay the insurance.I need help finding a place to to live but I'm a felon...I gave up that lifestyle but I can't find the break in life ..if I were not for my cat I would give up n just do away from this life its to hard n no one knows what its like to have a mom who has never loved me n only hasnothing but negative toward me ..during the blizzard that lasted almost 2weeks if it were not for the car we would have froze to death cuz. We was parked in her driveway in the car..I'm not a complainer but I didn't ask for the parents I have now only one person knows why my life is the way it is n if I'm granted one day to she that person I'm going to ask why..why so much pain n suffering n loniness..when I was born I should have been giving atleast a head start but not from jump...I need the wish I'm asking for so I can lay down straight in a bed..shower for atleast one hours to get this sweaty stinky smell of my body.. My baby needs to get off this car n stretch...she's getting depressed n I don't want my baby sick I'm all she has n I can't lose the only friend I have that hangs with me thru all of this at the end of the day we lay together cuz that's all we have..I want gas so I can run the ac...I need shoes cuz my leg was hurt pretty bad in the accident.n that's it but the main thing is my baby n getting her to feel better...so please consider my wish.. Once I feel like I don't smell or that ppl can smell me then I can go look better to see how I can try n fix my situation I don't know what to do but I'm trying reaching for hay while I'm in quicksand
Comments: Hello, I am trying to get my daughter any help that I can. She has been fighting CML (Chronic Myeloid Leukemia) since August 2008. For the most part she has done as well as to be expected. She had a son in December 2014 and since her pregnancy and birth of her son, she has fallen out of remission and has fought this battle to retain remission since Dec 2014. She works a full time job and although her chemo is orally. She struggles with severe side effects of her chemo drug and as she gets older it gets worse. She is struggling just to pay her bills and take care of her son and never has anything extra. She barely gets by. I was just thinking this would be a nice surprise for her and would buy her groceries or pay a bill that she really can't afford. Thank you for your consideration.

Comments: It's pretty simple. I have been disabled for 14 years. I have been neglected by the system and my lawyer. My lawyer took a foolish approach and led me down a false path. Government disability doctors have not been educated enough to evaluate the cause of my pain and generalize my pain into general foot conditions. My disability appears about 1hr-2hrs of work where I start limping and I experience extreme chronic pain that impacts my mood leading to anger. Where I lose everything. I have learned to stay away from that part of my life. And tried to whore myself but I am running out of ideas. I have been lucky to not be homeless and limping, as ex boyfriends try to help me survive. I need help with rent and whatever else people can offer.

We have been struggling financially and the effects of COVID have lead to an auto immune disease. I struggle with my health but, looking for a job to support my two children. Comments: I was recently accepted (conditionally) into the MFA Film Program at Full Sail University in Florida. I always told myself that I would only go to graduate school if someone helped to pay for it. I am already struggling with (and frequently delinquent on) my undergraduate loans. Full Sail does not have on-campus housing, so my only option is an apartment in the Orlando area. And the time commitment of the coursework does not allow students to work a job during the program (I've always worked while in school). A gift of $200 would cover the security deposit for most of the apartments that the school is in partnership with. God Bless!

Comments: I am 44 year old female been struggling with cancer for 10 years on and off. Had multiple surgeries chemo radiation. Even after years I have alot of complications mental and physical health. And at the moment my kidney is failing because radiation damaged it. Now I have voucher for section 8 to move to 2 bedrooms because my son and I live in 1 tiny bedroom. He sleeps in living room and does classes on zoom. I have no access to the kitchen when he is in class. My nurse comes daily and I have no privacy. I did found a new place with my voucher but the landlord wants first month rent and security deposit which I don't have. And I don't want to lose this place because I have been looking for months. I can't take this much stress anymore. I need help desperately. I need to move out from here. Can you help me? thank you

I made a request/wish but the way i feel after finding out that there are other folks going through the same type of struggle and reaching out provided me with some strenght to finish my submission. and it motivated me to start talking to god again, who i havent spoken to since my diagnoses a year ago. money helps but reconnecting with god is .....priceless.

I was raised by my aunt which she has passed a couple years back never knew my mother or father! Comments: My mother was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer known as Sarcoma and has been experiencing immense pain in her abdominal area. It's been very tough for us all emotionally, spiritually and financially. Especially during the pandemic when things have become more difficult than usual. Every little bit helps.

We now have hospital bills and all his vacation and sick days have been used to cover the time in the hospital. So we can't cash those in to hellp pay for our share of the hospital bill. Being a single father of 2 leaves me completely drained after a 40 hour work week. Day cares don't provide late afternoon service and at home sitters are to expensive. Comments: I am a 27 year old single mother with a 3 year old boy and a 2 month old girl. I was in a relationship with my daughter's father but he was very abusive. On July 10 2021, I was driving down the highway heading back home when we got into an argument and he pulled out a knife on me, waved it at me constantly and he threatened to stab me in front of my children. He had me at knife point and made me drive an hour back home with the knife pointed at me the whole way. When we got back home, I locked him out and managed to call the police. He was arrested and I got a protection order taken out on him and we go to court for his charges in the next few months. I am reaching out because he was the main provider for our household, and now he is gone, and I had to stop working due to me giving birth and not have adequate daycare for my daughter I was not working (I'm currently in school to get my CDL (Commercial Drivers License, Class A) & I have been looking for a part time job on the weekends). I need help with rent, but I'll make due with what I can, I am late on my electric and a few other utilities, and I just really need a helping hand for me and my children. Its like I said I am in school trying to better our lives and I am looking for a part time job in the meantime, I just need a little help and an extra boost. Last year I unexpectedly lost my job of 8 years, left my abusive husband of 11 years (and my home) , lost the only medication on the market that treats my rare disease (hypoparathyroidism) due to an FDA recall, lost my father to cancer, and just recently had my unemployment benefits taken away due to an agency error.
