Comments: Hi everyone Iam a single father who has fell on some really tough times Iam doing my best to pull things together but unfortunately iam falling behind on bills my job has been giving me less hours and Iam extremely stressed out any help will be gladly appreciated Iam trying to at least have enough to cover next months rent .
Comments: I have worked for 23 years at the same factory job while raising 2 children due to their mother dying of cancer plus construction on the side to give them all they needed in life. I helped them as much as possible during the time they went into college to better their education and become a responsible adult making me a proud Father, now married and raising there own children, making me a proud Grandpa. I got married to my 2nd wife, only to have her also die of cancer also. I began to get fatigued at work for almost a year, even falling asleep in my car at lunch breaks. When I went to talk to my Dr regarding my excessive tiredness during the daytime, they wrote me off work and ran tests on me, only to find out I have liver cancer and also a spot on my spine & lung, they are now checking out. I have ran out of my short term disability pay the end of May and been approved for SSDI but it does not go into effect until November 24, 2021. I have bills coming in monthly, with no money to pay any of them, even cashing out my 401K just to survive through the summer. I have never ask anyone for any help my entire life but now I don't know what to do to even survive another day without someone, somewhere helping me. Thank You & God Bless......

Comments: Hi, this is a little long and I'm sorry in advance. we're a veteran family that has recently relocated due to a career advance move my husband was seeking. During his hiring process, I was in a very serious head on collision with my two young children, about 7 weeks ago. Another vehicle hit my front drivers side at approximately 55-60mph. I lost consciousness. My injuries required me to be life-flighted out of our area to the only level 1 trauma unit within 300 miles. In all, I sustained 6 broken vertebrae, 3 broken ribs, a grade 2-3 spleen laceration, a huge hematoma on my left hip, I required a rod placement for my broken tibia,I broke my left wrist, and due to unnecessary Coumadin therapy my cardiologist left me on for months, my impact TBI evolved into 3 major brain hemorrhages that required 2 plasma transfusions.. I had a heart attack while I was in observation for postural tachycardia about 3 weeks post accident. My husband's job acceptance was delayed due to medical clearances and cross country travel needs due to the medical needs and the Time between now and then is what is leading us to need such dramatic aid. My husband had to stop working to care for our 1 and 4 year old boys. my 4yr old has mild cerebral palsy and significant speech delays. When I got out of the hospital initially, I was confined to a wheelchair and bedside commode so my husband was forced to continue his FMLA leave to care for me and the boys and has not received a paycheck since the work week of my accident. While I was in the level 1 unit, our landlord was given adequate notice about the situation. For whatever reason, he elected to move another individual into our home. We lost everything inside-- including 3 of our dogs who were rehomed by the shelter after he went inside our home and set them loose out our front door and our son's cat is in unknown whereabouts entirely. This has left us without clothing for either of us-- including safety gear for my husband's new job, clothing and diapers for our children, basic household cleaning supplies and tools to clean with, food, blankets, towels, our children's toys, and almost all of our furniture. My support dog doesn't have a leash anymore and I don't know how we are going to continue to feed him & I've have been training him to detect my blood pressure problems since we fostered him initially and chose to begin working him as a potential service animal prospect. My husband's family gave us a class A RV to try to assist us with housing during our relocation and cover that grey area until the first paycheck, but Unfortunately, the RV is not in habitable condition. It has a leak in the water tank, the furnace doesn't work, the air conditioner has gone out on it, the generator is not converting power from the inverter so it only works when plugged in & last night, the breaker box caught fire. I have some minor experience in electrical systems and between that and my spouse being an aircraft mechanic, we were able to do enough to survive with.. but by no means do I feel confident that our bandaid can safely hold us over, trying to plug in to a RV amp plug for electricity is heating the breakers significantly just running the half operational air conditioning fan and that's super unsafe. & Because, if that wasn't enough to cause a major need for therapy in the near future, during our move to meridian--, the 17yr old vehicle we had purchased to have for Cody transportation pending any insurance coverage after my accident had two major mechanical failures. The water pump was replaced two weeks ago, failing just before I was going to turn towards the highway on ramp. And two nights ago, the transmission failed on me while I was trying to merge into rush hour traffic in a major metropolitan area. We ended up having to leave the vehicle behind at the intersection I managed to coast the vehicle to, but now all we have is the RV, and it's neither habitable safely, nor a reasonable way for my husband to get to work. He also cannot leave us inside of it all day while he works if he drives it to work without proper access to basic needs like water & with the kids ages and My health conditions, being in either temperature extreme can become life threatening. We have not received any formal aid, but that's not due to lack of reaching out. I have contacted resource after resource and have received disconnected line notices, rings that go unanswered, people that have information on their websites indicating they have grants and programs that would fit the general area of need in some way to help us, yet tell me if they actually do answer that I don't qualify, they don't have aid available, or the aid they have to offer is days or weeks out for drive up services. It's been a mess of a headache and I just do not understand why or how I cannot seem to find the right person or organization that listens and says "hey, I know exactly where you need to be and who you need to talk to to help you bridge this gap you're in." We have a home we are interested in and have spoken in great length to the landlord with the property and he is aware of our situation and is willing to accept programs my husband may qualify through with his veterans status or anything else if needed and believes we are the best fitting, gainfully employed applicants for this property of his. It's got the opportunity to evolve into a purchase for us and we don't want to miss this chance to feel stable and settled and our children to have space and a yard and can be normal kids again. I know it's a lot of dumpster fire, but we really are just strongly in need of a little support bridging the final gap between when my accident shaking our lives far beyond impact and my husbands first paycheck from this new contractor. His employer is already allowing him to begin work this week instead of having to wait a week for orientation to help us out a bit more quickly.
Comments: I lost my dad to suicide and ever since then everything’s getting worse. I was homeless for a few years, only just managed to get a house and it’s completely empty. I don’t even have flooring. Universal credit has cut £20 a week now so I will go without eating so my son can eat. I feel like I’m on a spiral and it’s never ending. I’m only here praying for a miracle. I don’t even think Santa will visit my son this year with the way things are going and to make everything worse I have just been diagnosed with a liver failure condition. 26 and feel like my life is over. I am so hungry.
Comments: Here I am 60 years old have my own home and am suggling each month to survive. I son has moved out and us on his own now my daughter well has been dealing with CPS for about 3 years now and after hiring a attorney to try and get them off her back. But in the meantime I've been helping her with her legal fees clothing and feeding her 3 children. She's trying to get work but neither I nor her can afford to put them in day care it's going to cost way too much, and it's just my income alone, this month has hit hard with legal fees. My gas got turned off but was taken care of my electrical was about to get turned off but a church came through on that now it comes to my lot rent, yes I live in a manufactured home which is mine I worked so hard to get it paid off and I did, but now with me helping her has put me into a financial situation that I dont know how I'm going to be able to pay my lot rent. I'm short $500 dollars and need to get this taken care of as soon as possible before they add more charges onto what I own. Sure I work but with me being the only one right now working and helping with her legal fees which should be coming to a end has really hurt me. I've never had to ask for any type of help before but now I'm at a loss, and to top it off my daughter may have cancer and she us only 31 with three kids, she has more testing to go through to make sure it's what they are saying it is. So if anyone out there can lend a helping hand it will be greatly appreciated by myself and her and her three kids as well. Thank you for listening
Comments: Hello, I am a disabled adult and I live with my disabled adult son. In May 2021, I had surgery on my back. My MCARE only covered 80% and I have such a high Spenddown on MCAID that I cannot pay it on my limited income. The hospital took so long getting the billing sorted out that I am just now receiving them and it is to late to turn them in to MCAID. On top of that, I had an abscess in the surgical site and had to have it surgically removed and was in the hospital again for a week. Now 5 months later, I am still recovering. My bills are over $3000 on my part and by paying on them, with my limited income, we just don’t have enough money to cover other costs. I always pay bills first, so what we get shorted on is food. If there is anyway you could help us with any aspect of our situation we would be very grateful. Asking for help is the hardest thing I have ever had to do as I have always been the one to help others. Thank you for all the great work you do and all the help you have given to worthy people.

We have a massive bill coming up in Nov of $4,700. We signed an agreement for this bill when he was working in a secure job. He was then let go… which isn’t so secure. and since the has been struggling to find work outside of grubhub. All in all we were saving up for this bill but our car not only kept running into problems which cost us a lot of money… but someone hit us and left no information. We cannot access the cameras as of right now… it’s caused alot of damage that we just cannot pay for… and have had to and we barely got by with rent this month. Lord willing, our call will be fixed tomorrow… this is how my husband makes money. Anything would really help at this point.

Comments: I have recently been displaced from my home because the floor caved in because of a leak that was not repaired years ago long before I was living there. The house is unlivable and I had to vacate with in a day. I have been staying from hotel to hotel and also sleeping in my car at rest stops and gas stations. I have found a place that is reasonable and very affordable for me. I do work and I am also a 43 year old online college student. I have the money for the first rent but not the deposit. The deposit is $200 dollars exactly and it is ready to move in. The power, and water are included in my rent and it is already on. I just need the deposit and I can move in today or as soon as I have the deposit in hand. Its just my dog and I and if we could really use the help to get in a stable place. I have been loosing hours at work and its pretty tough trying to complete my course with a dog barking and in a vehicle so needless to say I have got behind some in my coursework. I live with my boyfriend and we are considered very low income. He is unemployed but a full time studen at home and I am currently unemployed. A kind woman at the cancer Institute referred me to you and said NetWish may be a good resource to help meet our needs. I am a full time advocate and caregiver for my husband and our 2 boys. Our lives changed drastically after he got sick. I do all that I can to help make ends meet. I clean houses and scope dog poop or any work that becomes available to bring in some money for our household. My husband has agates been such a great man to everyone he has ever come in contact with any I'm happy to make sacrifices for our family but sometimes its a bit more than I can keep up with. Comments: My husband was diagnosed with bursitis of the elbow in April. After months of useless treatment it was determined that he has cancer (myxofibrosarcoma). He's had a radical resection, free flap and skin graft and radiation therapy. His 3 month CT shows the cancer has spread to his lymph node and a few spots on lung. He's now going through chemo. My mom has Alzheimer's and my dad has been diagnosed with failure to thrive, so I am their primary caretaker. We've been hard working people our whole lives and seem to have just been hit extra hard lately. My husband career of 44 years is a press operator and without the use of one arm, he's unable to work. I'm trying to keep my parents in my care as long as I can which is why I haven't gone back to work. (was laid off last year after 33 straight years with same employer.) Just trying to stay afloat. Comments: My family and iI have been through so much these past couple of years.. My Mom passed away from Thyroid Cancer in 2019. 6 months later I find out I have Thyroid issues as well with the same lump as my Mom on the same side of my neck but thankfully it was not cancer. I had to have surgery to get my thyroid removed and that was very hard for me loosing my Mom months prior. On top of all of this my 12 year old daughter had to have surgery 2 months after my surgery in 2020 due to her having keloids. My husband and I lost our jobs in the process of all of this. Life has been a struggle and I pray everyday that God makes away for us to get through these very hard times. Food is a very big concern with a family of 5 on top of bills. Help would be so appreciated Lord knows and I pray that God puts us in a situation to be able to help others as well. Thank You

My husband was in a terrible motorcycle accident a deer ran into him as he was going down the highway, they didn't expect him to live. 3 months in a coma, I still have him but he is now disabled. Then I was in a car accident, hurt my back, I am now still waiting on disability, over 2 years since I worked and don't have a hearing til December. We live off my husband's disability checks, $1223.00 is what we live off of a month. We have fallen behind on our electricity bill, we now are facing a disconnect. Comments: Hi, I'm a 28 year old, autistic, transgender individual. I lost both of my parents, my mother last year, my father in 2015. I have been on and off homeless this entire past year (2021), and finally managed to just barely get myself my own housing this past June... However I was robbed of my wallet while in the city, making it so I no longer have an ID, and therefore I cannot find work because no one will hire me without identification. I currently have no funds, and was just served a letter stating that I owe the apartment complex $1672.52 in fees, and that as of 9/15, I must make a payment in full, or offer a payment plan to be agreed upon to the law firm my debt was sold to. Upon offering them every last dime I have, and asking to pay the rest off at a later date, they have stopped responding to my emails and I am assuming planning on filing a lawsuit against me, ultimately resulting in my eviction from the property due to inability to pay. I desperately need help. I can't take being homeless again. I'm at my wits end and just don't even want to wake up anymore.
