Comments: Hello, I was diagnosis in 6/2021 with Anal Cancer and currently receiving chemo and radiation treatment. I was working until I lost my job due to the pandemic and my unemployment ended in mid-October 2021. My only income now is my SSA retirement. I am seeking financial assistance to help with my transportation costs to and from my treatments. Thank you for your time and consideration in helping me.
Comments: Hello, I normally would not do this as I have tried all other resources. I am 28 years old and have two kids ages 5 and 7. Recently my long term boyfriend and father of my kids was given 1-2 years to live due to an autoimmune cause liver failure. He has been put on a list for a transplant. He has been very sick over the last few years leaving me to be the main source of income for our little family unit. I work 40 hours a week and have had to take lots of time off to take him to dr appointments and have had to spend money on prescriptions. Last month he was given the okay to get a job and the dr said he was good to work, which was a relief, when all seemed to get better my grandfather passed away on October 5th in hospice care. With what little I have had I have helped my grandma with groceries and adjusting to life without my grandpa. While going back and forth my boyfriend lost his wallet. Which had $400 that we desperately were going to need for rent for 12/01 part of his symptoms of liver disease is often forgetting things. Because I had taken time off I am going to be short for my rent. I’m asking for help for my rent for the month of December. I don’t need much. I do have half of it and have no one else to ask for help as many people are in similar boats in my family. If you have any questions please reach out to me. I have proof of all that I said above.
Comments: I a senior citizen on SSI, on a very low income. I have many expenses like rent, car insurance, car repairs and medical expenses not covered by medicare (drug co pays, medical premiums for insurance) which are very difficult to cover on a low fixed income.The last months of 2021 have been a nightmare financially. I had my car towed out of my parking lot by a towing parking lot security company for being a few inches over a parking spot line, I had a major car repair the next month, then I lost the programmed car key and it was very expensive to replace,and then I had my license suspended in Late Nov.for non payment of a traffic ticket and now I have a $400 electric bill that I cant afford to pay due to being on a low fixed income. I have a shut off notice for the first few days of Dec. 2021. I cant have my electric shut off because I am a diabetic and insulin needs to be refrigetated. I need immediate help with this ekectric bill so it won't be shut off. Can you help please?
Comments: Hello. Thank you for doing all you do to help others. Where should I begin. I have been in and out of the hospital since 2011 and have just had another surgery on my stomach making this my 16th surgery on my stomach in the past 10 years. Due to all these surgeries I ended up losing my job back in 2016. I have 2 boys and we were already struggling.. but then my husband just recently lost his job of 30 years due to cutbacks. I am on disability and we are struggling harder now then we have ever.. We are in desperate need of help. We tried applying for food stamps but we were denied for making $3.00 to much. We would be so appreciative for any help even if it is gift card at a store to buy food. We have a Walmart and an Aldis. We also have a couple other stores such as price chopper and tops but they are more expensive. I know that there are many others in need of help and I pray that you are able to reach out to many of them with help. I am also praying that we might be able to get some help as well with groceries or other . Thank you again for considering me and my family. Comments: I am a single mother of 3, I recently left a domestic violence situation and have returned to my hometown, since being here I have not been able to receive my unemployment benefits because my pin number was sent to my previous address and have fallen behind on my light bill. My lights and water were disconnected over a week ago, and need 250 dollars to get it reconnected. Please help it is cold.

Comments: I am Disabled and my monthly payments barely allow me to pay my bills. If repairs are needed in or on the house I cannot pay for them. My front porch is water damaged due to no gutters on the eaves of the house. There are rotten areas where I have to step to get on or off the porch and get in or out my front door. My fear is of falling through these rotten areas and with my health issues including a numb right leg due to a "botched" back surgery that I will not survive the fall. I cannot afford any type of repairs and definitely cannot afford to buy any lumber to place over the rotten areas. Also, my front door is broken and cannot be locked upon leaving the house. I need a new door and lock but the cost of a new door and then someone to install it is beyond my means. I thank you very much for your consideration! I guess it begins back in August 2019, I won't get into deep detail because it's far too painful to speak of but, everything started when my daughter who was 5 at the time, informed her father and I that while she had been staying over at my mother in laws house (My husband and I were homeless and it was best for her to live with grandma) my mother in laws now ex boyfriend... Sexually assulted her.. We honestly don't know how long this had been going on, my mother in law, who was mostly blind (Macular Degeneration) and mostly def had no knowledge of this as well. Long story short, he went to jail, my daughter is still mentally recovering, blah blah blah... Eventually things were getting better until The pedophile was released only serving 22 months in jail. When he was released, my daughter went over to my husband's sister's house, but since she has 5 children of her own and the ex had to return to my mother-in-laws house to retrieve his belongings, My husband and I started staying in our car. One week went by, he wouldn't leave the house, two weeks went by, I while living in the car had been looking for a job. September 6th I was hired on at Taco Bell, while we were living in our car. Unfortunately, that same day my husband's mother passed away... We didn't even know for two days... After blowing up her phone, her ex finally texted me back telling me that she had passed away... We lost everything... Her ex since they both were on the deed to the house would not let us return for ours and my husbands mother's belongings... There's more depth to it but I digress. Our daughter is safe and thriving at my husband's sister's, and I've continued working, but we're still in our car, winter is coming... Thanksgiving and Christmas is coming and now a court case against my husband's mother's ex is approaching... And we are at a loss of what to do. Within the last month I haven't been able to even set aside $5 for a Christmas gift for my daughter, my husband who was almost joint to the hip to his mother is suffering from severe depression as well as I am. And I have a hard time asking for help because I work my butt off to earn my way, but at this point, I'm at a loss. Thank you for hearing me out.

Comments: Good Afternoon, After many trials and tribulations that we have all suffered in 2020 and 2021, I was fortunate to be employed despite the pandemic. That was up until earlier this year when my Father and his health took a turn for the worst, as he was diagnosed with 2 terminal illnesses and in result of the devastation, is now on 26 medications to include help with depression in receiving this news. His quality of life went from serving others and working 70 hours a week, to walking with a cane and primarily home bound since his immune system is now compromised. I had to make the decision to postpone my engagement, quit my job and receive state medical insurance, all to take care of my Father full time. My daughter is 11 and has been the most helpful she possibly can be, but it is very hard to let her help as I am watching her grow up very quickly and sacrifice her childhood. I have zero income and have sold everything that I possibly can. Unfortunately, we still have bills coming in faster than I can turn around and trying to keep afloat is becoming non-realistic. Rent and baseboard heat and utilities are piling. I drive 2 hours one way to his doctors appointments almost weekly. I never thought I would see myself and my family in this position, but I am hopeful that in my time of need, that I overcome this hardship and become in a position to help others as they have helped me.

But 3 months ago in august I applied for an apartment, I didn’t think I would get accepted but I just kept trying & finally god decided it was time for me to get my own place, I’m new to this whole adulting thing and just now finding out things. I get confused and nervous over things I don’t understand, so today I paid my prorated rent for the first time (this is my first apartment) so I paid my deposit today and didn’t think it through entirely I was just so excited to move. Now im not sure if im to pay my rent on the 1st or on the day I decided to pay my prorated rent. Today has not been my day either, I got pulled over for the first time and panicked, I wanted to break down and cry. Please I need some kind of help. All the money I saved immediately went to my furniture which is now paid off. Im just stuck and scared.

Comments: I finally got the dream job working for the #1 Children's Hospital in the country. As a single mother of 2 I wept when I got the news. We moved to Quincy to make the commute easier. I have two children to care for alone. I thought this was finally the break I desperately needed to provide for my children. It has been 9 months at this job and I can barely make ends meet. My boss has refused to pay more and said it could be another 3-4 months before I can receive a review in the hopes of making more. She said the most it will go up is a quarter. My son's birthday is at the end of this month and I cannot afford even a gift for him, let alone a gathering. We’re currently going through a financial crisis after having our daughter 3 months ago. During my pregnancy I was extremely sick vomiting blood daily. Every job began sending me home so I had to quit my jobs. My boyfriend got some tickets in my car and my license expired during my c section healing process. Since I don’t have a second form of ID every job denies my applications. We cannot afford rent, utilities, tickets, and now our daughter is in the picture so we’re really low on funds.
Comments: My husband has Stage 4 terminal Colorectal cancer. As his cancer progress' I find I have to take a lot of time off work to care for him. I just started this job about 2 months ago and every time I take off work I am not paid for it. This money would be used to pay a utility bill or buy groceries as needed when my paycheck is short. Dear Charity Organization: We are requesting assistance for 2 unpaid health bills that are delinquent. The last few months have been very stressful on our mental health as we have had many life-changes including jobs & income, family health issues with both our mothers, and new parenting woes with the daughter. My wife is starting a new job on Monday and that is good news in terms of letting go of some of the stress from the managerial position of the last job and being in our age group “60” requires this. I am continuing to apply for jobs that I am eligible for working from home since I have a disability ASD and have found ways to bring in some income. I am also working on a crowdfunding project and plan by January 2022 to have a new secondary income. This hope and income is necessary to give us stability in our marriage. Our health bills have been a very heavy weight on us, and we are asking for help to pay for them both. One bill $1,229.32 is for services rendered late 2019 and early 2020 at the “Boulder Medical Center” and has gone to court so we paid $229.32, and we have until December 15th to pay the balance of $1,000 on that bill. The other $670.90 bill for services given to us at the “Foothills Surgery Center” is from the same period early 2020 and has been delinquent also. It is imperative to pay these bills so we can keep getting our medical benefits and not be barred from these medical facilities. Thank you for considering, and I would be happy to provide the documentation from each of the facilities. A total of $1,670.90 is being requested, and any assistance can go directly to the creditor or facility. Thank you for considering.

Comments: Hello my name is Kelly. I am 48 years old with copd and other problems but my husband Richard who is everything to me is having trouble. About 6 years ago he fell down our basement steps landing on the cement head first. He refused.medical treatment but was bleeding from his ears nose eyes and mouth. Since then he's had to quit his job and tries working side jobs but he's having more and more trouble with his memory and temper and has developed serious spine and neck issues. I'm usually on sever medication plus oxygen however the co-pays are still pricy. We rent a room on a house but my disability check doesn't go far. If Richard could get help getting a car it would make it a lot easier to get each of us to our many appointments as well as him get to places to work. Comments: As a single mother of 3 children, i have 2 that require more assistance medically than the other one. My youngest at just 3 months old is in kidney issues and may require dialisis. I love my job due to tending with the care of my youngest daughter, and am trying to figure out how to be able to take care of her as her equipment and supplies do get expensive. My 2nd daughter requires care for a condition where her head is misshaped and her insurance would not cover her helmit. I am hoping to be able to get a netwish to help with some of my daughters care. Currently, we are considered homeless, and are bouncing from place to place at the current situation. I want to make sure my girls have everything they need especially with winter approaching. I have been recently told that my disease is progressing so I expect my life span is 6 months or less.. Comments: Um...hi, my name is Caydee and I'm a single mother to a wonderful 9 year old son who has autism. I also care for my grandmother, we all live together in a two bedroom duplex (use to be section 8 housing) and it's cramped. I've been disabled since 11/10/2014 (I had a work accident). My health isn't great but I take care of my very special little family, whether I'm able to or not, I function because they need me to. We are in the poverty level and I've had to borrow money from loan companies because of my grandmother's health getting worse. We don't know how much longer she has but she is and always has been with more mother to me than her youngest, my actual mother made my life a living hell. I don't know what to ask for. I've paid what I could but I still have debt including my cell phone. I just need help, I'm working on asking how through my psychologist. I suppose I'm asking for monetary help. I had us nearly in our own home with 3 bedrooms but my credit gets hit. I wish for money to get rid of debt and money to find the home that would give us all leg room. Please, someone help me.

I'm at the point where ,at time when I can't perform usual daily activities at home due to fighting this cancer battle,and sickness.God know we need help this point.Praying each day an blessing,will come our way.
