You always here about the bad things people do to others but not enough about the amazing people that do good things for others without hesitation. I've managed to do odd jobs as well as work for my landlord. Comments: Hello my husband was in a horrible car accident in august which almost took his life, he has broken or factured ever part of his body except his arms and legs, he broke 8 vertebra in his back which caused him to have a massive surgery to fuse his spine together and than additional intensive physical therapy, during this time i suffered income loss due to traveling to the hospital where he was admitted to which was 2 hours away and the time and money that has endoured really took a tole on my bills and family nessecisties, We are going on 3 months behind on bills, and new over 200k in medical bills, and waiting on him to get approved for SSI which can take up to 8 months for a decision. Comments: My name is Gloria I am 40 years old from NC. I'm not one to ask for help but this time I am desperate. This year has literally tried to kill me it's been the hardest year in my life.i was a caregiver for my father who was also my best friend for 7 years full-time I was out of work due to that, we don't have a lot of family so it was just myself my dad and my 19 year old son here. He passed away January 8th of this year with no life insurance or anything so we were left literally with nothing. I managed to get a roommate for a little while until my health took a toll in May. I was diagnosed with MRSA and pneumonia I was in the hospital 31 days on life support for three I came home and managed to scrape together everything I could just for rent then again at the beginning of October the infection hadn't cleared all the way and I was back in the hospital again for over two weeks it had set up in my back and now spread down my right leg I have to use a cane to walk so I can't work. It's cold outside and I power has been turned off four times this year we are on a prepaid contract with the electric company and they turn it off at 8:00 a.m. if you don't have money on your account so we are already cold but thank God we still have a roof over our head for the moment. I'm asking for help for rent because home December 3rd we are going to be homeless. My son and I both are trying for disability we have no vehicle and no family to help us. We've lost so much this year and it's been back to back the last thing I want to do is be homeless for Christmas. I already can't get anything for my kid and it would destroy me to tell him that we can't pay rent. My Rent is $500 a month due Dec 3rd, and at this point I feel like I'll never be able to come up with it. Comments: I'm going through a horrible, hard divorce after 21 years of an abusive relationship. I am still on workers comp but it only covers prescription costs now and I know longer recieve payment. Recently my Dr stopped accepting worker's comp insurance but I've been with him for almost 12 years and he knows all about my life and events and personal trauma. I don't want to have to go through another Dr and have to retell my life story over and over again. I'm technically still not allowed to work and I don't have any can't technically get a job, so I have no income and bills to pay and groceries to buy. In 2020 the Covid pandemic was not the only situation to complete my life, I also became a single mother who finally broke free from a three year domestic violence relationship. My child and I went from staying with a friend in their spare bedroom to our own apartment. Overjoyed to our own home and new start we started with absolutely nothing but a tv that was given to us and a twin mattress that we kept on the floor. Close to nothing but so full of love, I fell in love with the bare apartment because for the first time in a long time, it was my safe heaven. My home. After long days and hours of working two jobs we started accumulating furniture piece by piece. Plates, kitchen utensils, blankets, a dining table, dresser, everything was falling into place and we were getting the things we needed. However, working two jobs was beyond exhausting and I felt like my child was growing to quickly before my keys and I was gone to much to even notice or experience it. At that point I decided, with my child starting preschool in the near few months I did not nor could I ever miss those special years into her future and education. I wanted to support her through it all and experience this lengthy but rewarding chapter with her. Immediately after working just the one job my monthly income dropped drastically. I, still overjoyed of having my own home became quickly overwhelmed with the bills to keep up. They’ve just been pilling. Working extremely hard, went back to school to work on a degree in hopes of a great career jobs before 35. Soon to be starting a new job next month that I have been praying for. Still praying my debt can be dealt with in time and my life will all begin to fall into place,

Comments: Hello, first off thank you to the creator of this platform you've given me hope that my family may receive a miracle! I am a 33 year old wife and mom to 2 children, 9 year old female and 19 month old son. My family has been struggling for the past few years and are unfortunately now considered homeless. To understand our situation I will have to go back to 2020 and lay out the unfortunate events that occurred. Myself and my husband were doing ok both working at Amazon and living with a family member, then I ended up getting pregnant. During my pregnancy I became very sick, and between the sickness, my age, and having to lift heavy boxes at work I was not able to work. Amazon and disability both fought me,so I was not getting any pay, I am still fighting to receive pay for the year I was out. My husband tried to work as much as he could but he has health problems and was struggling. Once our son was born things got more difficult due to my son being put in the NICU for about a month, and then myself and my husband both started suffering from postpartum depression/anxiety. Due to my ppd I was out of work again, while my husband struggled with physical/mental health problems and going to work. Finally in May 2021 my husband had a mental breakdown and was put out of work on a medical leave as well. Amazon has fought us both this whole time and I never received any type of pay while as my husband was paid his PTO and vacation days and that was all. We had no money and did door dash and Instacart when we could just to get food for our children while our rent and bills piled up. Then January of this year myself and my husband were both fired from Amazon while out on medical leave. At this point my mental health had gotten a lot better so I decided to start applying and I finally got a job working at a mental health hospital helping people, while my husband stayed home with the kids and continued to get better,but unfortunately the damage was already done we were getting evicted, and now the car was not running like is should. Fast forward to September 1st of this year we were forced to leave our home and are now homeless, staying with a relative that makes it clear to myself and my children everyday we aren't wanted and must leave asap. About 3 weeks ago she kicked my husband out and I was forced to miss work due to no child care for my youngest then my oldest got covid from school and all of us caught it and my husband was allowed back, thank God! But now it has been 3 weeks of no paycheck and our only vehicle is completely broken down, without our vehicle we have no way of me getting to and from work and no way of putting food on the table for my children. My daughter already suffers from anxiety at the age of 9 from everything we've been through and now I fear I will lose my job and then we will have absolutely nothing. All I've ever wanted from life is to live a simple happy loving life and to give my children stability and love please I am beyond desperate for a miracle, every government agency says we don't qualify since I am employed. Because our ex landlord said he did not want the grant to pay off the back rent and 2 months future rent we had to vacate or be thrown out. We had no where to go because we lost in court the won our money so we came to a hotel. received help from a program with hotel stay, we had to be released from them because it was temporary. I have battled Nonhodgkins Lymphoma and survived chemo and surgery to remove a 10 pound spleen and 5 pound gall bladder which left me with an insicion from my wishbone past the belly button,Hence lack of movement made me gain weight. Now after the weight battle of 30 pounds lost,I find my self in dire need of clothing that wont fall off. I esp am in need of warm flannel night gowns,slippers,a warm robe ,a long winter coat and shoes. I am currently struggleing on social security and am barely getting by. so I am here asking for just a little help with this need. Thank you for your consideration .

Life was once good until my daughters Father started to abuse us, now i have no stability since leaving him, going from hotel to hotel, couch to shelter for the past month. Recently I was able to find us a home and I just need help whatever I can get really to go towards paying the deposit. This would mean sooooo much to me and my girls. Especially, knowing how getting our own place nobody can take away from us would help my oldest daughter. All this instability is effecting her behavior and school work. Comments: I heard about this site on YouTube and considered sharing a request because of my ridiculous dental fiasco. Anyone with chronic dental issues knows what I’m talking about. Too many things to list. Honestly my dental challenge feels way bigger than an e-mail request for $200. Reading though these has humbled me in my journey. Of course I’ll apply any money sent, should that happen. More than that, I am inspired to move my charitable dreams of helping others OUT of my dreams and FIND A WAY to share whatever I can with others.
Comments: My name is Shannon, I am a single mother of 3 beautiful daughters ages 16, 13 & 10. Truth be told we've struggled our whole lives. My children's father has remarried and has absolutely nothing to do with our kids. IF I get child support its solely to get him out of jail. I work full time as an office manager for a local locksmith company and I clean houses/yard work or anything else I can find on the side to provide for my children and myself. I'm able to make ends meet the majority of the time however my vehicle - my prized possession - the one thing I cant live without - what makes me be able to provide has broken down. I am at a loss right now bc I cannot afford to have it fixed. My father was arrested earlier this year for criminal sexual conduct on my middle daughter (this happened while he was residing with us due to his disabilities) and my mother took of years ago - its just me and my girls to take on this world so the kindness of a stranger is all the hope we have left. I am more than willing to pay this forward once I have gotten back stable & on my feet... we are on the verge of losing everything bc without vehicle means I cant get to work, no work = no money no money = no lights, no water, no home etc. To anyone willing to help God Bless You, there are no words to describe how grateful my children and I would be & we thank you for your consideration. |
