Comments: I’m a 25 year old and I just found out I have Hodgkin Lymphoma while it is treatable I will be undergoing 4 different types of chemo starting after Christmas. What’s crazy about this is in July of this year I attempted suicide (obviously it didn’t work) and now here in November I find out I’m advanced stage and unfavorable. Funny how things work out… I was on food stamps but lost it due to not being able to follow through with their work program since I’ve constantly been sick and in and out of the hospital. I don’t have a vehicle which makes it hard to get anywhere especially since I live in a small town that doesn’t have much and the closest “big” town is 20-30 minutes away. And asking people for help and relying on others to get me where I need to be has been very rough. This time of year is supposed to be fun and time to spend around loved one but at this point I’m just finding it hard to even get out of bed and make myself sociable. I guess I’m really just giving up all hope and while others continue to say prayers and that they’re sending positive energy, Nothings changing still have no hope and struggle in finding the strength to keep fighting. Just asking for a glimmer of hope and a little spark to keep going I guess. Sorry for being a downer but I don’t know how else to explain everything anymore.

Despite my best efforts to budget and cut down on expenses, the cost of living continues to rise and our income has not kept pace. This has put us in a difficult situation where we are constantly worried about making rent each month. We have had to make sacrifices, such as skipping meals or forgoing necessary purchases, in order to make sure we have enough money for rent. Unfortunately, these measures are not sustainable in the long term and I fear that we will soon fall behind on our rent payments. This is why we desperately need extra funds to help cover the cost of our rent. I am her only child, and it’s just me and her at home, and ever since her mental issues affected her judgment, I’ve been in charge of the home finances. Comments: Hello, I am 72 years old and was in the cruise and got sick so, was admitted in the Emergency Room. My insurance doesn't cover it as it was in the cruise and outside of the USA. I have a bill which i am not able to pay for it and on the top of that cruise told me they have stabilized me and i had to leave when the port came. So, i had to fly back from Mexico to USA and pay so much money for flight ticket the same day! I really need some assistance with my cruise medical bill and flight home. My children's father passed away on our daughters birthday in 2012. We've struggled ever since. I battled with drug addiction for many years and I finally won my personal war with drugs. Two years ago, I graduated the suboxone program, and have been drug free since then. But my need is that we don't have transportation for me to go to work and support my family, and get off public assistance. If I don't get a vehicle to get a job,then I fear we will continue to struggle to survive every day. Please help me to be financially stable by working. Comments: Hello, I have a three year old daughter and am filing for divorce due to domestic violence. He is not allowed in the home (the lease is in my name) but he has taken our only vehicle and my dog and all funds from our joint account. I am doing my best to stay afloat and pay rent so we do not become homeless. I will have a job starting soon and do plan to move to a more affordable place but need to hang on until February 2024 to be able to do so and qualify for a new place and save money to move. I do not have family I can turn to during this health cirsis unfortunately and doing this ALL ALONE and I am scared. I am high functioning/masking Neurodiverse person & recently have been diagnosed with a RARE disease called "Cushing's Syndrome ", along with a brain tumor issue called "Pituitary Adenoma". This is all new to me and so overwhelming. The last six years have been excrutionatingly daunting to even be taken seriously but I have finally,and by the grace of God I am on my way to resuming some sort of quality in my life. Because of the disease being RARE there are not many healthcare specialist educated in this disease in the USA & unfortunatley for me. I live in a place where I am not able to get medical treatment without traveling 1000+ miles away. I need to get to doctors. The upon returning to my home state, because my case is "too COMPLICATED" as I have been told by the medical in my home state, I am not able to get medical care. I had brain surgery in Arpil of 2023 in another state and upon returning home a month later (due to complications) I have had NO MEDICAL CARE at all and totally dismissed. Doctors have dropped my case and or referred me on to team 1000+ miles away that I can not get too. I am desperately needing help with a MEDICAL RELOCATION. The insurance comapny is suppose to assist however the state is pushing back and gatekeeping services that are leaving me without any quality of life (I can not even bathe nor cook formyself right now and they are intentionally keeping services from me) homebound and without anyhelp in my home and suffering greatly. I feel so ashamed for having to ask for help but you see I was walking home from work one night about 8 months ago and these 3 men came out of nowhere and just started beating me with in an inch of my life .the also raped me and took All of my money.so I am not able to work right now because I need to have surgery on both of my legs so that I will be able to get around without my walker.I am truly thankful that my husband got worried about me when I hadn't made it home before our kids bedtime so he called my job and asked what time I Leland they told him I only lived 20 minutes from my job.And I had been off work for almost 2 hours before he found me .I THANK HIM EVERYDAY FOR LOVING ME AND OUR KIDS SO MU H THAT HE WORKS 7 DAYS A WEEK TO MAKE SURE OUR BILLS ARE PAID AND SO THAT WE WILL BE ABLE TO EAT. Comments: I'm disables myself and am the sole caretaker for my sister who is special needs. She has downs syndrome and dementia. We are both on a fixed income and money is scarce. My sister needs winter clothes, new shoes, and i would love e nothing better than to be able to take her out and buy her what she wants, and needs. She has been in a facility before, for years. The treatment she received there was horrendous. I will not put her back there. I would rather be broke and happy with her at home. However, it is very hard. There is no help out there for family member who wish to keep relatives at home. $200 could get her winter clothes, shoes, a hair cut and help make her life happy.
Comments: I am seeking assistance for the utility bill it is $190.00. it was due on the 12th of November. I have been taking care of my father for the last two and a half years with dementia. He was just recently put into a facility for assisted living. I tried to take care of him but at this point he wont listen to me now due to the extreme progressiveness of his dementia. I have a disability that keeps me from taking care of him any further. I am on minimum disability through the government for an Avm aneurysm. They wanted to do surgery but if I do the surgery then I'll be permanently blind and maybe paralyzed. I am blind in one eye and deaf in one ear already. So I decided the surgery wasn't for me.So therefore friends of my dad's had to take custody of him and everything that my father makes a month is going to the assisted living facility. I am now trying to make the bills here at my father's house and found myself without money for the utility bill this month. I tried to talk to the county but no answer back to no avail. I get food stamps and go to the food pantry.so I'm not really too worried about starving right now. But I am worried about being cold for the next month or two and having the electric shut off. If you could find it in your heart to please help me with this for this month it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for everything you do for everyone.
Comments: Myself, my daughter and her two children lost everything when my car blew the motor. We ended up on the street for almost a year. We were blessed with a ‘emergency housing voucher and we’re in a home. Little did we know there was no bus service nearby and no jobs. We just wanted off the streets and be together. We are in desperate need of transportation to get jobs we’re so scared we’re going to lose the house because we can’t work for lack of transportation. Water, electricity, rent are all post dew. I have a harder time getting work because I lost the crowns on my two front teeth. It’s so humiliating others looking at me as if I’m on drugs I hate to go out in public. We are in desperate need. My grandson has disabilities and he needs clothes and Christmas is coming. Anything would help we have little for a home. No bath towels, no cleaning products. Biopsies taken during this procedure revealed that I had Helicobacter pylori infection in my stomach (which had been present for many years) and Dysphagia in my throat. These issues can cause stomach and white blood cell cancer, as well as mucus and swelling in my throat that impede my ability to swallow. My specialist has advised me to take this very seriously and prescribed me medication. On January 21st, 2024, I am scheduled to undergo a procedure to stretch my throat and take biopsies from my throat, upper, and lower intestines in order to evaluate the efficacy of the medication and determine if it has helped with the swelling and mucus in my throat. In addition to my medical issues, I have chronic high blood pressure and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). I am unable to acquire the medication I need due to its high cost (some upwards of $179), as well as the fact that I must take certain medications throughout the day at separate times to combat the bacteria. Furthermore, I have no income and my insurance requires a $550 deductible, which I am unable to pay. Comments: Hello. I need rental assistance as my job has left me out in the cold and is not helping me after forcing me out of a department. I worked in the pharmacy and was working toward getting my tech license but, every time a mistake is made, youre written up. My manager wrote me up for an action I did not do (and there is proof that I did not do it) and because of this, the company had false impressions of me and I was forced to leave that department. I was given 2 weeks to transfer to another department. I have applied to about 8 maybe 10 other stores and departments but due to the fact that I am full-time and my company only hires part-time, they dont want to take me. I told my HR manager about this and still, they are doing nothing to help me secure a new position. I am a full-time employee and this is my 3rd week not receiving hours. I applied for unemployment and was denied at first, but was approved after. However, due to picking up shifts in another department, Iḿ not sure I will be given unemployment for the weeks I wasnt working. I will probably be getting $380 instead of my usual $570 every week. I already am scraping by with $570 every week and even donate plasma to make rent. as of right now, the only income i expect for the rest of the month is $570. My rent is $1,280. All the rental assistance programs are full and cant help me. I kind of want to sue my employer for leaving me out like this. I just need to make my rent. I don even have money to eat. I applied for food stamps after losing hours and it still has no been processed. I dont know what to do. I have been homeless in the past and just barely got to a good place and my job just ripped the rug out from under me.
