Comments: Hi, I am a disabled student, wife, and mother waiting for approval of disability. I have 4 children 13-1 and am married. I was hospitalized recently for mental health issues. My husband had to stay home with our children while I was getting help I needed. Then he got into an accident and our vehicle was totaled. We are 2 months behind on rent $1650 and our lights are due for disconnect this this Thursday. The cost of the bill is $300. My community center of the parish has no funds to help with my crisis. I do not know where to turn as I've never been in this situation. I was referred to net wish by my college.

Comments: My name is Savannah, my mom and I work hard every day to live. Late 2024, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and it has been a very long, bumpy road. Surgery and 21 rounds of radiation has left her burnt and very tired. It's made it difficult to keep the bills paid without her help, but it's also important for her to rest. We currently live at my grandma's house after a divorce, with my father living here as well. He gets drunk every night and is very nasty to my mom, I could go on and on about the details but I'll spare. We need to move out of here as soon as we can so that my mom can heal in a positive environment. We are blessed with what we have now but we are grateful for any help that we can get. Comments: Hello, I'm a single mother of three kids. My son was born half deaf first in the my family. So its been a struggle. He is ten years old now and in 4th grade but on a 1st grade level. He is struggling in school. I recently gradated from college and got my associates degree in medical coding and reimbursement but I owe the school 1,192 dollars now and they will not release my certificate and transcripts so I can take my CPC exam and get a job. On top trying to pay college off, my bills, and buying food for my kids since SNAP took away 300 dollars because I'm not working even though I have a ten year old son that has a disability. That needs extra care from me. I still got to pay for all my medical coding books that are over 100.00 dollars a piece. On top of that I have gotten behind on rent from trying to pay my school off and I got a letter from apartment manager saying If i do not pay the so amount that they will be bringing me a eviction notice on the 30th of this month March. Comments: I had a house fire on August 17th 2024 I suspect Arson the fire marshal refuse to investigate my fire said he didn't have the resources all the time available to pool arson and that it was an unfortunate accident that I should have had insurance on my home no one was home when the fire happened only our family dog Loki who was 9 years old the fireman didn't try to save him they there more damage to the house in the fire . I used the majority of my savings to start repairs on the home the city officials have given me tickets instead of trying to help me find assets to help the house and they are trying to demolish my house that I have owned and lived in for 40 years I'm looking for assistance if possible with restart the electric wiring in the house so that me and my family can return back home city has blocked me from receiving any grant money when they made my house vacant and unoccupied as the status but it is my primary dwelling place so they are trying to block me I'm receiving any financial assistance that's why I believe my fire was intentional and I continue to restore the home any assistance or information will be appreciated to help . It will be greatly appreciated. I have lived in my home since 1990 and have no plans to sell but the city officials are adamant about demolishing my property..

Comments: I am disabled and living on a fixed income. My 83 yr old mother lives with me and she was recently diagnosed with Alzheimers/dementia. Her dementia has progressed significantly and I can no longer provide the type of care that she needs. Her doctor highly recommended that she be placed in an assisted care/nursing home facility immediately. My family and myself are trying to gather the funds necessary to place her in a facility until she receives approval from state medicaid to pay for her stay in the facility. This could take months and she needs to be placed immediatey so she can receive the proper care that she needs. If there is anyway possible that your organization could help out with a portion of the costs it would be greatly appreciated. I used to work full time as a fiber optic technician until I got hit by a DUI driver in January of 2024, causing me to lose my job and be unable to work due to my injuries. I am currently homeless, couch hopping at my friend's places to have a roof over my head at night. I still have some lasting injuries from the accident that I was in but I have recovered enough to be able to work again, physically. However, my license is currently suspended and I need to pay $340 in fees to the Drivers License Division in order to get my license reinstated. Not having my license has been the biggest hurdle for me to find a job after recovering enough from my injuries from the car accident that I was in. I would be so grateful to receive any amount of financial assistance to help me be able to pay off the fees to get my license reinstated so I will be able to get to and from work and be able to recover from homelessness."

However, since LADWP was offering relife during pandamic, I totally forget the untility things, currently we owe a huge amount to LADWP, and they are sending letter to us to disconnect our untilities now. Comments: Good evening..... I recently fell carrying my 3 year old great nephew to the potty.. Thankfully he was not hurt, but I fractured my nose and right humerus. I will be coming up with a lot of expenses that I just do not have room in my budget for. The expenses are co pays for doctors and upcoming physical therapy. I am on Social Security and live in assisted living The rent is sky high, and takes most of my check. I am in debt up to my eyeballs due to previous medical expenses, car repairs, and lastly I had to put my cat down this past Sunday morning. Comments: Hi my name is Noreen Fernandez. i am currently seeking assistance with medical expenses/medications.in 2016 i moved in with my Dad to take care of him until he passed in 2017.i was diagnosed with end stage renal failure in 2012, and currently on SSDI.After his passing i was left with the current mortage which my SSDI doesnt cover the whole amount leaving me struggling to pay other bills. in 2015 i was blessed by my best friend with a kidney transplant. i had to fly to San Francisco which put a hardship on my financial situation. Since then I've had a triple bypass in 2021, in 2023 i had an infection on my right foot and had my last two toes amputated. In 2024 i had another infection in my left big toe and had antibiotic infusions for 2 months, my doctor said i was only able to stand for 2-3 hours per shift if i went back to work. That was a challenge as i am a hairdresser and did hair for 23 years. In January of 2025 i was diagnosed with breast cancer. Not sure how much or what kind of treatments and or medications I will need but im trying to stay positive that God has a plan for me. I don't have a car so I couldn't get my kitten anywhere else not could I ld I afford to do I took my lil girl home where she suffered for the next week and took her final breath in my arms a couple days ago. Comments: Hi! My situation is unique. I made a wish for my sister. She is currently at the hospital receiving a port. She has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. She is in stage 2. On February 7th, she will be receiving her second chemotherapy treatment. She was diagnosed less than two months ago. The doctor told her that she would have to quit her job (she owned a daycare), stop going out to the grocery store, and stay away from people. She was instructed to live "like a girl in a bubble." She was even told that groceries would have to be dropped off at her door step. Her cancer is progressing aggressively. After her first treatment and upon returning home, she found out that the well at her home stopped working and needs to be replaced. During snowy weather, her water actually stopped working. My netwish and prayer is that my sister receives a new well. I don't want to burden her while she's in surgery, so I decided to make a netwish on her behalf. She is currently living with my 78 year old mother until her well is restored. My family is trying to raise enough money to purchase a new well at her home during this difficult time.
Comments: Hello , first I want to say Thank you for helping people .i always said from when I was a young girl I hope to be able to help others. I am 50 years old and I have applied for disability but it takes long to find out if you get approved and it’s very tough financially for me right now to pay for my storage fee and my cell phone which both are due Feb 1st. I recently got divorced and to try not to go into to much detail I have a permanent injury on the right inside of my neck and on Aug16 th I had a stroke and was in ICU and then a mini TIA stroke while there and they found a small mass on my left frontal of my head now have to do routine MRI’s to watch growth and super scary but I was Blessed with getting all of my feeling back in my right arm, I did not lose the mobility it just kept going numb and almost asleep like feeling. My daughters who is 22 has own apartment and works in the next town over her car completely quit on her. Comments: hi i originally found your site through a eviction prevention web search and planned to ask for some assistance but after further reading i seen that the amounts your organization is helping with is much to low for how far behind i have gotten. with that being said and have read what i have upto finding that out i couldnt stop reading and exploring you site. ive read letters of thanks from plenty of others that you were able to help and with the readings i caught myself smiling about the happiness and pure relief that you brought into so many lifes. i kinda got stuck on your site for a while cause i felt good about the good your spreading so much that i forgot i had to still find assistance before i get evicted. so ill need to cut this short imon ssi so a set income and that mean set to need one or two roommates for the rest of your life cause its never going to be enough to actualy live on ever plus i rescue dogs so food catches you slipping when you go from 4 dogs to 13 dogs over few days time and that means a 70 dollar a moth food habbit for my actual pets just double to tripple its price but we cant find it in us to let the puppys we rescue spent another nite without even when its taking so much from our normal lifes. so with all that going on i slowly but surely failed. i fell behind because i screwed up the first month and 2and 3 months i wont lie money wqs spent out onto auto pay bils and some went whonows where besides out of my account and i kept falling behind for many mor months until itat what is now and ive been behind long enough to accumulate almost 5k betweeen rent and utility.and these are together as one bill so we can slack off on a bill to go ahead and pay twords rent.anyways i started this to say thank you guys for doing what you do we in america appriciate you and your orginizations help even those who dont know about you guys yet.you may be the ones to change the world.thank you from myself also. keep at it , mike ps not asking for a wish just saying thank you im just in dire need of more assistyence then your able to provide it seems and your doing so much already have a good day and hope your family and you are blessed in return for all your doing
