Comments: Hi! I am a disabled mom to 2 amazing sons, a wife of 26 years to a wonderful husband. We currently have a disabled family member living with us, who is also a Vietnam veteran, and has been hospitalized for 6 weeks due to problems associated with congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, & kidney failure. Both my husband and my youngest son have a rare, genetic, cancer syndrome called Von Hippel-Lindau Syndrome, or VHL. My son currently has a brain tumor, and pancreatic & testicular lesions/growths. My husband has testicular lesions/growths due to VHL, but as he was only recently diagnosed, we don't know about other tumors yet. However, he is suffering from severe neurological symptoms indicative of a possible brain tumor, and also has severe heart disease (3 heart attacks, including a "widow maker"), and poorly controlled diabetes, despite a strict dietary regimen & medication. Needless to say, despite having medical insurance, our bills & expenses are very plentiful and money is not. We are in imminent danger of losing our home, as we do not have the money to pay our property taxes - which total in excess of $4,000.00. We desperately need financial assistance to help with this, and food,and utilities. Our current utility bill is just over $530.00. My husband is working as much as he possibly can, but is having great difficulty due to his health issues. Our family member who is currently hospitalized, initially moved in in order to assist us with expenses - but then fell I'll & has been unable to work. My oldest son is trying diligently to find a job, although he should only be going to school, and my youngest son is still in school. I will gladly provide any requested documentation of everything I have stated - from diagnoses to bills. Any assistance will be tremendously appreciated to keep our family from becoming homeless!!!

Comments: I am filled with warmth in my heart after I found you guys on the internet. I knew there was someone out in this world that cares and has the means to help people that are in need. Thank you for all that you have done so far for so many people and I hope I will be one of these lucky and blessed persons that you will consider helping. I am a single mother of a 16 year old daughter and her and I have been homeless since her dad and I split up over 7 years ago. I worked very hard to finally get us a place to live that we call home. I have been trying to get a little car so that my daughter won't have to walk to her school anymore beens its a 9 mile walk to and from school. She has asthma and it's becoming harder and harder ever day. I was hopeing we could get some help anything to help us get a car. I have found many cars for $500. Comments: Hello, I am writing in need of some help. I am worried and troubled about my car being repossessed. I have 3 small children from ages 8 to 12. School has just started and I hardly was able to provide their uniforms for them with everything being so expensive and the schools demand of much supplies. Every penny I have I put into my children first. I receive no child support from their father who has disappeared. I'm in a bad situation because I am 3 months behind on my car payment. They have put out a repossession for my vehicle and without it I can not take my kids to school or get to work. I only make so much and the rent takes all my money manly. I have been juggling trying to pay my expenses on my own but I am failing and as much as I try to get ahead I fall behind. I am ashamed and embarrassed. I have no other help.

I recieve $148 a month for my 16 yr old & $20 a month for my 17yr old. I do get foodstamps but i have to sell sum even though i know i'm not suppose to but i cant seem to get any help. I have applied for tanf several times and denied each time cuz i used up my 60months. My mom allowed us to stay at her apartment for a couple of wks so i can heal from my c-section. Its already bn 2wks & she keeps asking me what am i gonna do becuz we cant stay with her do to the fact she is raisinh my sisters 4 children. So its 10 of us staying in a 3 bedroom apartment. I don't know what to do. There is alot more going on with us but i rather not do it through message. I have never had to ask anyone for help like this but i have no where or no one to turn to. Comments: I wrote to Netwish.org yesterday.I was borrowing a friends computer and was in a rush when writing you for a wish.The details that I didn't mention regarding my situation were as follows: I just turned 55 years old yesterday. I had my disability hearing on June 1, 2016. My physical disability has already been determined however,the judge told me at the hearing that I am entitled to collect from the regular disability fund and not the supplemental which was where my disabilit would have been paid from. When I originally filed for disability in June 2011 I was denied due to not working & having enough work credits. I told the judge that I was working from 2006 to 2011. The judge told me that my employer never paid my employer payroll taxes, at least according to my social security statement. I told the judge that I had pay roll checks to prove that the employer I was working for have me a pay check every2 weeks showing my current tax deductions as well as year to date deductions. When making about 40K a year and zero dependants was a lot of money taken out of my checks monthly for over 7 years. The judge mentioned that I am entitled to collect from Title II of the Federal Tax code. And furthermore, I am entitled to collect the retro back pay from the original filing date of June 2011. That's 6 years of back pay in one lump sum payment. In the meantime, the judge needs my testimony regarding this issue and my hearing date is not until November 14, 2016. Comments: My name is Heather and I am a victim/survivor of domestic violence, I have had to have surgery on my arms most resent surgery was 8/10/16 so just little over a week ago I use to work very hard as a CNA and with the injuries I have I had to quit working the usage and mobility of my arms and hands I cant do really do anything and been out of work for little over a year, I did have a good amount saved up and put away but those funds are gone I was paying my bills with that and they ran out 3/5/16 so I owe my landlord sense april totally amount is $3900.00 and I have to have $1900.00 by 8/29/16 or I will have to leave. If i can pay the whole 3900.00 the land lord will drop rent to $850.00 a month including all utilities so hes also helping out do to I have no family 2-3 friends that cant help financially afraid to leave house because of the x-abuser and Im waiting for my benefits to start that will be in Nov/Dec Then I will be able to pay the $850.00 I am on hands and knees begging for HELP I will be so appreciated to any and every one and once I am back on my feet hopefully I can be one able to lend a helping hand!!! just like that saying One Hand Washes The Other

Comments: My name is Michelle, until November 2015 I had a fantastic job for 16yrs. Yes, I had the same job for 16yr then was laid off due to reduction in workforce. I also suffer from Systemic Lupus. My health is not the best needless to say, but I don't let that stop me from my job search. Being out of work for almost a year you can imagine how robing Peter to pay paul just doesn't cut it. As my illness is very stress driven my health has taken a blow, but I continue the job search. I am writing to you today to Wish for assistance with my electric bill that has reached just over $200. California unemployment I collect is just not enough to make ends meet. I live in a modest 3 room guest house that I barely scrape by paying 950 a month unemployment pays only 1800 a month. I know that is a lot more than most, but I am struggling to tread water. I'm a single father and just earlier this week my own family gave me the boot out of their house. I'm now currently living in a weekly hotel but the cost to live here is extremely high due to my brother telling me to get out of his house with no notice. I'm paying 400 a week just to have a roof over my sons head. I am only asking for just a little help so I know i can keep a roof over my boys head, food in his stomach and keep up good hygiene. Anything will help just need to get by until my next payday.

Comments: Hello, my name is Sandra and I'm 58 on disability . I fell on Jan 7th, 2014 and broke my neck, arm, and 2 ribs. Also I had a closed head injury . In Feb I moved to Naples to be near my mom who also needs help. I have no car, am 2 weeks behind in rent 1000 and am looking for a part time job. The past year and a half I have had 3 eye surgeries due to the trauma of the fall. Before my accident I worked full time since graduating college. Well I recently found out that I'm now going to have to deal with endometrial cancer and whatever treatments they may say I need and now have an enlarged liver due to side effects of my hormonal cancer treatment. I recently ended an 8yr relationship because he couldn't handle they stress of a a child work and my illness..my grandson and I are looking for assistance for first months rent and security deposit. I was awarded disability for my illnesses so I would be able to maintain my rent once I was established. I have applied for state assistance for my grandson which I was approved for 180 a month in cash and food assistance for the two of us which was nearly 300 dollars . Within a month I was cut off for cash assistance and my food assistance was cut to 100 dollars they sanctioned me because i couldn't give them anymore info on my grandsons parents. I did cooperate and gave all the info I knew. But i guess they didn't believe me. So if there is someone out there that could just help us get started and on our feet it would be a great blessing. My life was fine till 2015, one year that has marked my life for every an can say I had the worst luck an still. It's a story, that I never imagine this happening to me. I have 3 children my joy an happiness, till year now father's mother fought for custody, just cause I couldn't afford my apartment on my own anymore, went to my mothers home. I cared an never let my children's sides, games, school events, that type of mother. I just need my kids back, inside I'm drowning in tears everyday. I don't ask for help ever, I'm the lady of town who traslated, gave rides to familys, I helped so many people. That I have not seen one stop an see if I need it. I bought a 300 dollars car two months ago, ran well till week ago, started heating up an oil started to spill. I only need a car to get to a job, to be able to get my life back which are my children. I can't be evicted because I'm currently fighting to get custody of my grandson that is DSS custody. If the entire amount can't be provided any amount will do. I fell and broke my knee and tore my ACL at the end of march so I have been off work since then,I have exalted my bank account,lost my place. In living with a friend. I have had surgery so now I'm trying to heal,but that's kinda hard when you have no income coming in. You living with some one else that you can't contribute to anything are pay your bills. Comments: Hello my name is Erin. My reason for my financial burden is not my fault. Crazy enough, it's the water company in my town. I received my bill which stated I owed $297.50. I called the water company and asked them to come out here to investigate. Sure enough, no leak, no pool, no wet dirt, no evidence of any leak. I called the water company again and I told them I was going to dispute this amount. She said she would turn my water off for non payment. I don't have monies for this amount. My regular bill is only $20 a month. I'm afraid my water will get turned off. Cant believe you can't trust your utility companies. I received a letter from the water company today, a week later from the bill stating a disconnect notice. I really don't know what to do. I've always paid my bills. Comments: Hello my name is Wes Jones, I'm a single widower father raising my 3 children.since my wife's passing in September 2011,I have worked hard to be able to provide for my children, in the coarse of the last five years, I have been dealing with alot, first of my son who has behavior issues and the constant care he requires made it impossible for me to keep a steady job, upon me losing my job because of my sons demanding medical needs, my house had burned down, and we lost everything, I was able to hold it all together, and managed to keep things rolling, salvaging what I could from the fire, and working where I could,never successfully being able to explain my son demanding medical needs,and was always let go. I've been able to pay rent and utilities with the survivors benefits but when I had to admit my son to a long term care behavior hospital this past May the survivors benefits where cut in half taking me from 1200 a month to 700 a month, I've managed to pay the utilities but haven't been able to make rent, my rent is 650 a month, and I was able to pay 200 towards rent last month this month I was unable to put anything towards rent makeing the total I owe for rent 1100. I've pleaded with the land lord to work with me,and give me time to come up with something for him because I have no where else to go,he has been patient, I've contacted every local assistance program I could and there are no funds available,Ive done everything in my power these last few months to find a steady job and haven't even got a interview, and I've reached out to everybody I know and every local charity,and assistance program, and have been unable to come up with anything, now I have til this Friday to come up with something for rent or I'm going to be evicted. I have no way of even moving my things out of the house and no where to go, school starts tomorrow and I haven't even been able to get my other two children the school supplies they require, or any new school clothes. It weighs heavy on my heart that I'm not able to do for my kids. And I'm literally throwing myself to my knees before you and asking for any assistance you maybe able to give.
