Comments: My family and I need help with paying rent $1100. My parents are self employed and have worked very little since my diagnosis on January 9, 2017. I have T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL). I am 14 years old. My mom is under so much stress right now. It makes me sad to see tears in her eyes so often. The rent on our home is past due. My mom is expecting an eviction notice any time now. Please help us.

My story is I'm originally from Chicago I moved here to Jackson Tennessee once my husband passed away I lost the home and a business to help my mom whose husband has also passed away because I am the oldest I have lived here for 15 years taking care of my mom volunteering for 6 years at our local soup kitchen and just being the best person that I can well unfortunately my mother passed last year the day before Thanksgiving and she left me with a house that has a $9,000 mortgage on it and of which I am behind $3,000 6 months because of the fact that a seasonal job I was working ended right after my mom died. My mom died suddenly without a will. I am now working however I am not able to catch up on the mortgage and I am deathly afraid that I'm going to be foreclosed on. The lender won't help because my mom passed without a will she did not name me as the executor or the owner of the home however she did tell other family and friends that I was to get the home because I had been here taking care of her so with that said I'm unable to refinance am unable to put the mortgage payments that I am behind to the end of the loan I don't have money to put the house in Probate I'm afraid within the next few weeks I am going to be foreclosed on so I do not have time for grants I don't even know where to start because I am not from here I don't have any family here I am here totally alone I'm stressed out I have stage 3 hypertension as a result of worrying about what am I going to do or where do I turn I don't even know where to turn for help sometimes I just want to go with my mom but I know that is not the answer because I'm a stronger person than that but I need some help I need it fast I have nowhere to go if I lose this home as I have no other family here and no one to turn to if you can please recommend any solution an option for me I would greatly appreciate it because I don't know what to do I can't eat I can't sleep because I am so worried about this I I would appreciate some type of response whether good or bad because at this point I'm lost and I don't know what to do in advance I would like to thank you for any consideration for even reading my email. Comments: My only source of income is a small disability check I receive each month & have my 6 year old granddaughter living me. I am falling behind on my rent payment & have been paying $20 a month to show good faith but I received a letter yesterday I need to pay my balance in full or eviction would take place in 10 days. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I am not one to ask for assistance & I would work but I have 1 of 3 surgeries scheduled beginning 2/18/17 and the other 2 surgeries will follow. I have no family left alive to go to which is a very lonely feeling. Any documentation you need I would be happy to send to verify my situation. Thank you for your consideration.

Comments: I am a single mother with two children. I am in the process of losing our home. Since November I have been trying to catch up on my rent. For three years my children were in foster care due to there father,along with domestic violence. He has stolen money from us and since I was working when he watched them I can't prove he did. He is also homeless and he believes that I owe him a free living. I had to quit a good paying job because he refused to watch them and be a father. My last court date is In May and I can't lose our home. It's not my children's fault there father has taken from us. I am in desperate need to keep my home. Right now I owe 1726 dollars but I will be served papers from the sheriffs soon. We have no where to go and my children are going to a very good school. Please help us. God bless.

I had to spend all my money to get gas on with the deposit pressure test and permit. So the gas company would turn my gas on and pay my light and water bill. Comments: Hi I am a single mother with cancer struggling to make ends meet. I have 2 boys and a girl that are my whole world. I am $500 short for my housing. I have tried to work with them. They will not wait until 02/10. If I do not pay immediately they are lock my children and I out of our house. I have already paid them $400. My medication cost for my cancer medicaiton were suppose to come out of my account on 02/10 however they took it early. Please if anyone can help please I am begging you. The unemployment dept put a hold on my benefit because of my car breaking down and I wasn't able to go to this part-time job. I have a appeal in and I just want all of you to pray for me. My light are going to be cut off again and my rent will not get pay so I might be homeless. In all the years I have worked this is by far the lowest that I have been. I have been looking for jobs but it's kind of hard when you don't have money to go to interviews. I just wanted people to know getting old in this USA is the scariest I have every been. Thanks

Comments: Recently I had a terrible situation concerning bedbugs in my apartment. I was forced to toss out all of my furniture including my bed and mattress. Currently I am sleeping on a small love seat. My wish is to purchase a queen size mattress and box spring. I am 62 years old, I have very limited funds. I suffered a stroke 2 years ago, which resulted in my left side weakness. I walk with a cane, getting around to shop can be very difficult for me. If I am granted my wish, I would like assistance to order the box spring and mattress online. I just want to sleep comfortable again. I thank you for your consideration of reading this letter.
Comments: Studying to prepare for a medical school, particularly in Pakistan, requires a great deal of both hard work and money. I am from a low income family as well as unemployed. Sources of support are negligible and life is just going. If a student from an average middle class is preparing, he will either take admission to a preparatory institution or buy the essential books and notes. The same is the case with me. I cannot afford to buy the books or take admission to any institute as well. I personally know some fellows who have the same aim but are living from hand to mouth. I have decided to stay at home, prepare for the exam and take care of my parents as well as siblings. I want to buy the essential books and notes and it requires a minimum of $170 or 17000 PKR. I plan to make the photocopies and give them to the deserving fellows. But if I buy these books, this will cast some harsh financial effects over the family. The income is utilized in funding the medications of my parents and a grandmother. I am in a harsh need of your assistance and contribution. If you help me, you are starting a chain of help. Please help me by contributing a little. I have lost hope. Help me regain it.

Comments: I am the Grandma of 3 that just recently took Temporary Custody of these children. This was sudden and unexpected. I'm single and struggle supporting just myself so please PRAY for us. I am unsure how my family and I are going to make it without someone to donate the $285 dollars we need to make February's rent. I am overwhelmed and scared. Afraid and worried and so anxious. I don't know what to do, but I like knowing that there are people who love me, who care about us, and who would help if they could. Our tanks are down to 10% and the place will not deliver unless it is at least 96 gallons. My husband was currently laid off and I have a 9 month old daughter that I also take care of. I really need all the prayers I can get. I just got a new job but because of all the bills and how far behind we are it was either catch up on rent so I have a roof over my head or pay for the heat.
