Comments: I have sacrificed myself to become a great nurse caring for others 30 years of service. Taking care of everyone else grandparents to inmates at the county jail. Retired, took care of my own grandma, parents,aunt all whom have passes away. Now I’m alone and in financial hardship because I tired helping a friend out but in return for my hospitality she stolen personal property money, valuables. Then her ad her boyfriend physically assaulted and battered me that’s how thoughtless they were and the way they paid me back. Nice right now because of the assault I need surgery on my shoulder to repair rotator cuff and biceps tendon tears where it’s connected to the shoulder and by the elbow the biceps tendon is being pinched causing numbness in forearm. That’s not the end I called 911 from across the street because the female broke my phone. Police officer came you no what they did nothing about the situation at that time I had a hematoma on forehead the size of a baseball and undoubtedly a concussion. Bite mark on my forearm with the female teeth impressions in my skin with immediate bruising. Still did the police officer do anything NOPE.
Comments: At this time I feel like my world is crumbling and I cannot find a soul in sight to lean on. I am the person that people come to so it hurts when I am in need no one is there for me. I've recently, well, about six months ago I went through a really back break up. since then I have be battling to stay above water in every way. My electric is about to be turned off soon, and I am fighting not to get evicted. While dealing with that I am also battling with week long headaches and throwing up blood. I have gone w/o food, I have been in and out the ER missing countless days of work and I need help. I pray someone see this and maybe just maybe a miracle can come my way. Comments: Hello, if at all possible for any kind of help at all I've just lost everything due to a fire in the attic of my apartment caused by the hot water heater, right above my apartment.the fire melted the ceiling fan and dripped on my foot causing me to get burned 3rd and 4th degree across my right foot but luckily for that waking me up or I might've died. I also lost everything I owned to either fire, smoke , or water damage. So I have absolutely nothing but the pair of pants and the shirt I was wearing the night it happened. The chief of the fire department told me that I was the only person to get injured in this disaster. I'm currently staying in a homeless shelter and unemployed because of the injuries so any kind of help with clothes, shoes, blankets, furniture anything at all would be greatly appreciated.

My husband lost his job the week before Christmas, I have a job , I make minimum wage as a housekeeping Supervisor at a motel, which is also where we live . I make enough to pay the rent of $840/month . I just don't have enough left from my pay for food for two weeks because I get paid every 2 weeks, and we don't qualify for food stamps at this time. Comments: Me and my girlfriend both lost our jobs fairly close at the same time we have 3 young kids we care for we struggle to keep the lights on food in the fridge and electric going we sometimes don't eat ourselves to stretch the food for the kids. It is so unlike me to ask for ask for help, but I believe sometimes we are put in situations in order for us to humble ourselves and realize that in a blink of an eye our situation can be changed from good to bad or from bad to good.
Comments: I don't know what to do. I'm in way over my head. I come from a family where we live paycheck to paycheck, and I've just moved out to a town 2 hours away to attend school. My school is phasing out of housing so I had to live independently... The rent is a lot of money that is paid by my financial aid, but because of constant hiccups, I've already been nearly evicted last month. Now it's looking like I may be evicted again. I have food, but I have no idea if I'll be able to make it to school for the rest of the week unless my financial aid comes in, which is unreliable... I can't work because I don't have my own transportation and my parents would be furious if I were to walk (which is crazy to me... I would willingly walk if it weren't for the fact that I need them on my side in case I get evicted.) I don't know what to do because I have to pay for my medication since my insurance expired with the financial aid I have right now... I just ask for you to pray for me. I need all the hope I can get now.

My pregnant fiancée, two children, and I are being threatened by the utility and power company that we will lose power and utilities if we do not pay them a sum of money soon. And today, I was leaving work for my lunch break, only to find out my car got repossessed. I am one that absolutely hates to ask for help, but I'm completely out of options here.

I start a new job this week but won't get paid for 3 weeks. It will be difficult to keep this job if I lose my home. I am not used to asking for help but am in a desperate situation. Comments: Good morning, I am recently divorced, single mom of 2 boys (ages 6 & 2) who is severely affected by the government shut down. I used my "cushion funds" to pay for my divorce. Since the shutdown, I have had to pull my 2 year old out of day care while some nights decide whether or not I should drive to work since I have a 1.5 hour commute to and from work. I gave all the money I had left over to cover a huge portion of my rent where I still owe $475. I still have to pay my light bill which is $160, cable $170 and cell which is $250 (late). Comments: Greetings. I am a 54 year old single woman. I have two grown sons--ages 28 and 20--who live out of state (the older son lives in Florida--I have very limited contact with him; my younger son lives in Texas, and we have regular contact with each other.) Right now, 01/10/2019, I am in aa dir financial condition. Although I receive $772.00 in SSI, SNAP in the amount of $164.00, Medicaid, and $250.00 in rent assistance from the nonprofit organization I volunteer for--ae both a Fundraiser and as the Administrative Assistant, I do not have enough money to pay both my electric bill, and my internet bill--which is essential because I tele-commute from home as the organization's Admin. Ass't. I had to ask my Faith Community for help with food, medication, and dish detergent. I was given $20.00--which is gone. I have Bipolar I illness--diagnosed as Manic Depression at age 16, Type 2 Diabetes, muscle/joint/tendon/ligament damage due to being morbidly obese for over 10 years--I lost over 80 lbs.in a years time, from my highest weight of 246 lbs. I am now approximately 166 lbs. at 5'5". I also have an undiagnosable "balance issues". I am constantly making correction to compensate for my actually uncontrolled sideways toppling over. I have actually fallen to the ground--and onto people--because of my inability to constantly stay upright. I am no longer able to work neither a part-time nor full-time regular job. My volunteer work is flexible. However, it does not--literally-- pay my bills. I have had to humble myself to ask my younger son for financial help. He said he would look into how he could help me--except that he's had to cancel his Debit card and is waiting for the replacement and for his next pay period. By the time his assistance reaches me, it will already be too late. I really need help.
Comments: Helllo I am asking for help with my rent.I have been unable to pay my rent this month which is $230.I am they only one working but my multiple sclerosis is taking a toll on me.I have 3 small children ages 7,5 and 1 and i am afriad of loosing our house. The total rent here is $475.00. I have MS and i have been having problems with it i have been having flare up And its hard to get up to go to work because my MS I be in pain everyday and legs be heavy and numb. I been apply for disability but I was denied and I reapply and been waiting for a answer from them I have no help and no where else to get help.my landlord does not want to wait any more they have done the eviction papers and I have until the 18th to pay it but if we can get atleast part of the rent, maybe they will give us more time to come up with the rent. Comments: Hello and my name is Cynthia. I'm recently divorced and i have Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. I'm on disability because of the cancer. I go to the doctor alot and have no transportation. The town i live in bas no bus system. Its very expensive to take a cab or Uber. Anytype of financial assistance would be great. I had a good size mass in my eye. I had chemo and radiation for it. Eversince then my sight is horrible.

Comments: I was so amazed to find your website. It is a rare thing to find people or places willing to lend a hand to people who are struggling, most of the time through no fault of their own. I submitted a netwish two days ago. Whether I am approved or not, it is a blessed thing you are doing. I have always believed that God helps those who helps themselves, and I have done my best. But my 6 yr. old grandson, who I am raising, has several health issues which require surgery, including one to repair his heart. I am so scared, and worried about him that I am having trouble concentrating on how to come up with the money to pay my rent, and provide us with food and basic necessities, after several unforseen expenses occurred in the last few weeks, broken water pipes, car quit and is beyond repair, which means I now have to find transportation to and from his first 2 surgeries which are scheduled this month. But I will not give up, just knowing people like you are out there, offering a lending hand gives me strength and hope. Whether I am accepted or not, bless you for all you do. |
