Hello, I am requesting help with a car repair. I am between jobs and live in my car. The repair is $150 with parts and labor (radiator issue with hose) and antifreeze.

I will be able to do DoorDash after to pay it forward and then have time (due to not having to take public transportation) to go to better job interviews.

Thank you for your consideration.

I live in Davenport, FL with my spouse and our three children. After a car accident and two back surgeries, I lost my income and our only vehicle. We are behind on our County Utilities water bill, and without help, our service may be disconnected. A NetWish grant of $200 would help us keep our water on and provide a safe, stable home for our children while I recover and work to rebuild our income.

I’ve been through a roller coaster of cancer treatments, cancer diagnosis. I finally got diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s B cell lymphoma, cancer, and BNA 3% of the population. Been going through a regiment through Mass General Hospital missed a lot of work missed a lot of time. Miss my family.. Just trying to get help anything with suffice. Gonna spend Two weeks locked up in the bone marrow Ward just to get my cell straightened out. It’s been a long journey but when I get out of it, I’m gonna be a superstar I hope. When I get cured, I’m gonna pass on the knowledge and all the help to all the people so they don’t have to go through what I’ve gone through.
Peace and love

Hello, and thank you for reading my story.  This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, as I am the one who helps everyone else.  I don’t know how to ask for help, how to accept help, and the shame and embarrassment of having to ask for help and swallowing my pride is a huge pill to swallow.  But here I find myself with no other options, nowhere else to turn.

I ran a very small company called, Tanya, HELP!”.  The name came without much thought…that’s what I do.  I help people.  It started when the pandemic hit and I lost my job.  I needed work desperately and answered an ad for hanging wallpaper in a nursery.  In 3 days I decided to go into business, picked the name immediately, and within one year I was remodeling/renovating/re-plumbing entire homes, from foundation to roofs and everything in between.  I build beautiful fences and decks and more.  Appliance repair, electronics set-ups such as computer systems and home theaters, junk hauling, organizing, yard/estate sales, cleaning homes, boats, RV’s, servicing RV’s, you name it,  if they could think of it I would get it done.  I can even work on cars and truck now. I also helped people who could not afford home, appliance, or other repairs due to low income, fixed incomes, senior citizens, disabled; anyone in need.  I believe everyone deserves to live in a clean, functioning, safe place.  I have mended roofs, replaced subfloors and flooring, fixed appliances, made dog ramps for senior dogs.  I ask the community and local hardware stores to donate materials.  I have done many jobs for $10 for gas and a sandwich because that’s all they could afford but insisted on giving something.

Last year, my mother’s lung cancer returned with a vengeance. Before we knew it, she was at stage 4 but she had multiple other issues too.  I had to leave my home and my 2 rescue dogs and my business behind to go be the sole full-time caregiver for her,  and over the next few months helped her do everything from getting out of bed to putting her back in bed at night. I did all the cleaning, feeding, bathing, shopping, laundry, medications, and lots and lots of love while watching my best friend in the whole world dying.  The doctor gave her 6 months. She made it 2 more weeks.

During that time, my 17 year old daughter had gotten something slipped to her at a graduation party and she never recovered.  I had to commit her to a mental hospital twice and she was then in a vegetative state and I was afraid I was losing my baby girl forever; before her life ever started (a year later and she is fine now, thank you Jesus).

Hurricane Beryl hit while I was caring for Mom.  I had $30k in fence work to go do.  I had to tell my clients I couldn’t.  I estimate another $100k+ in sales was very easily attainable, which would help me invest in my company, get a better truck so I’m not embarrassed to pull up in front of a client’s home, and put money away.  I couldn’t leave my mom.

My home suffered damage I was unaware of which worsened while I was gone.  I had no insurance and FEMA would not help.  The state would not compensate me to care for my mother when I know several people who have all kinds of help.  THey said my mom didn;’ need the help but she couldn’t get up, dress, bathe, cook, feed herself, anything.  She died while I was preparing my appeal.

I took care of myself and my bills but wasn’t rich by any means.  Not working for those months caused all my bills to get behind.  My electricity and water are off; I am 7 months behind on my rent and my landlord has been more than fair but I have to move if I can ‘t catch up this month.  I have nowhere to go and take the 37’ 5th wheel that is my home.  I have no one left to help me, my family is all gone besides my daughters; one is 28 with 2 small children, the other just turned 18.  I hate to let them see me like this when I should be stable for them.

I went into a deep deep depression after mom died, I lost my business, my utilities are off, my truck is barely running, my teeth are falling out due to stress, I have ulcers and severe digestive issues, and arthritis.

I know how to pull myself out of this but I need a hand up desperately.  I can go to work for Intuit doing accounting and tax specialist if I can attend their free INtuit University online but I have no desktop or stable internet access.  This is the job I want to do until I retire, and I will have a good, steady income, not like unstable (but doable) when I was self-employed.

Oh, I didn’t mention yet that my 4 year old rescue staffie who doesn’t leave my side and is my uncertified but nonetheless my emotional support dog has heartworms and I cannot afford proper treatment.  I cannot even afford the follow up visit (over $200 for re-testing).

IF you could find it in your heart to give me a hand up so I don’t become homeless and lose my dog and go completely under living on the streets, I would be more grateful than you would ever know, and I would be forever indebted to you for saving my life. This is what I need, specifically.

Heartworm treatment                 $2500 or $250

Dentures (so I can get a job and not hide anymore)        $3200

Back rent        $2500

Lights and water back on         $3000

Desktop/ internet        $  800

Home repair materials        $  500

Truck repairs                                                                                  $ 500

TOTAL        $13,000 or $10,750

I will provide receipts for every penny or provide info for direct payments from you. I don’t need to touch it. If it is sent and I send receipts, I will also return every penny that is not spent (it’s all accounted for though).    I promise to pay it forward forever, and keep on being “Tanya, HELP!” because that is truly my passion, in my spare time when I am not working for Intuit.  I will even gladly go on a payment plan once I am back to work and pay back every penny. I will give you the title to my 5th wheel and my truck.  I am in desperate and dire need.  I can fix my life and continue being a productive member of society and even go see my 2 grandbabies that don’t know who I am; or I can be evicted, have nowhere to put my 5th wheel, I will lose my home and be homeless with no possible way to get back up.  I am begging for your kindness to help me get back on track so I can keep on helping other people too.

I would love to start a non-profit with Tanya, HELP!  And really help others if you have any interest in something like that where I can make a difference on a much larger scale.

I didn’t ask for any of this.  None of it is my doing.  I believe it’s Satan trying to change my heart.  It won’t work.  My life theme seems to be “No good deed goes unpunished.”  The harder I try and push forward the further and harder I get kicked back.

Please help me get back on track and save my boy, and continue to help others which is my calling and passion.

Thank you so much,

Tanya

My spouse has been sentenced to prison for domestic violence. On the same day of his sentencing, MTSU property management company said the owner wishes to sell the home I’ve lived in for nearly 10 years. I have teenagers still in school. I was given 6 months to move out. There are no programs for families left behind carrying the Financial burden now that the head of household is incapacitated. I can’t find housing that is safe and affordable. I work full time. I don’t get any services as I was told I don’t qualify. My wages are poverty. And yet I’m still not qualified. To make things worse, I can’t qualify for a rental application when I did apply. 3 bedroom homes are rarely under 2000. What little I have in the bank is from my tax refund. I’m down to my last 5,000 to continue to pay the rent. But the longer I keep paying here, the less I will have to move out with. I don’t have family or friends here.
I know it’s a long shot… I’m no body special. Just someone desperate to seek other ways to find hope. but we need a fresh start. We need a home. For peace of mind. We’ve been through so much. And the uncertainty of not knowing where we will go doesn’t help the heart to heal at all.
Thank you

Good day and thank you in advance for reading my request. I’m 60 years old and I’m now finding myself with a few medical problems. I was directed to your site through my doctor’s office at UCLA Medical through their dept of Social Services. My State disability expires this week and I have no income coming in now to pay my bills and to survive. They told me to try here to see if I could get some help / hopes in receiving any help. I’m so grateful that there’s someone out there that cares even if I’m not selected. Thanks for helping others in need. These are some very trying times and it doesn’t help having health issues and unable to function as you normally would. Thanks for your time. Sincerely… Carlotta P.

I woke up the other day and my car was gone before I could call and set up a payment arrangement. I woke up the first day of school and my car had been towed. I am trying to find 2,150.33 to recover my vehicle. I am back to work, full time trying to collect that full amount. To get back on track. My car repossessed on Labor Day weekend. Can someone please help?

Hi, my name is Crystal, I am here asking for a wish that I can re-open my shop. I can have it up and running with $4,000. I had to shut down because I made a huge mistake by signing a 6-month lease thinking I could renew, and the co-owner of the company already had another business that would be taken over after my lease was up, I was blindsided, and pretty much forced to shut down, they did not think my business would thrive because there was not alot of parking places, the guy made it very obvious he did not think it would work out, on my first day of opening he told me that i dont have to do this, that I could back out, because he knows someone who wants the shop. the guy wanted me to leave sooner and kept stopping by sitting in the dark lobby before I even turned on the lights trying to discourage me to quit in a kind way, but he was acting weird at the same time. I had at least 100+ people lined up my first day, but of course that was because we were also giving away free stuff for opening day. He really took that happiness away for me, and I will never sign another contract with him again. I could have took him to court since how it was a second month under a 6 month lease, but I just did not want to deal with the headache of him making me anxious, plus he was trying to get me to tell him how much I made, and I think I upset him when I did not tell him, the way I see it all he should have been focused on was me paying the rent, not how much I made, I did really good, but when you tell someone that of course they will raise your rent lol. So, I told myself when the time was right, I will try again that was in 2023, and I know I am more than ready, this is not my first Rodeo. So, here is the thing, last time I had a job and did it on my own, I still even have my equipment, my managers food handlers license, still good for a couple of years, but this time it will be different. I am going to have a store manager run my shop because as of 5 months ago I have been in a wheel chair, I have Adult growth Hormone deficiency, I used to have to take shots for low hormone, but after age 15  they said I did not need it anymore, and I got tested and sure enough I had super low Igf-1 so I have been to specialist after specialist who couldn't help me get my hormone replacement they didn't know how shockingly, I just discovered a compound company who diagnosed me, and all I have to do is pay $ 150 for the first month, and $200 a month for the rest of my life. My husband can't help me with my shop he barely makes the bills I am even concerned about him not always being able to buy my medicine, insurance does not cover it. Plus getting money from him is like pulling teeth I need my own income lol so I am trying so hard to get my shop opened and I already have my first store manager lined up, I do back ground checks and got to know her in person to see her character, I feel confident she will do amazing, however of course I have backups if she something comes. I am a plan ahead kind of person, I even have assistant manager, and crew members once the time comes. I just need help with starting up one shop, I plan on opening several in multiple cities. I can still operate from home, and still go to my locations, and set up security systems in all locations. I am ready for a change If i could get a job I so would believe me, but without medicine I get fatigue, I have heart pains, Severe heat intolerance and other issues I struggle with where I can't even sit up for hours at a time, sometimes I can, but not all days. I have to lay down for a little bit to regain my strength. My shops are crucial for me and even though I am married he does his own thing, and he stays busy a lot, so I really need my shops to get the help I need while I am in recovery, all this is from me not having growth hormone replacement, I have hope to walk again once I get my replacement injections. For now, this is my plan and I am ready to start over and believe me i will never sign a 6-month contract. I will only sign contracts that are 1-year leases and the option for renewal. Thank You for reading over the longest make a wish you probably ever read lol. This is my wish, and I will have a Pay it forward option at all my locations to help others as well.  Have a great day. Even if you would want me to pay it back I will but praying you would give me a chance to get about 3 shops opened first so I don't feel the pressure lol. I just want to make sure I have more than enough so I can pay for medicine every month, helpers to help me at home, my shop workers, and shop expenses. I would be forever grateful for a second chance, my goal is getting my shops going while I am getting better, and that sounds like a great plan to me.

I was looking online at possible grants to help start a house painting business because after doing some diligent investigation, I have learned that the start up and materials needed costs very little and it’s basically run on intent of the individual! That I have! I lost my job through no fault of my own and on the fight for unemployment insurance acceptance through the appeals process and I have run out of money and am in a desperate need of help! So, I’m trying to go at it with a positive attitude and help myself rather than waiting on another business or entity to make it happen !
But the main reason that I jumped on your site is that I was born and raised in Philadelphia! That’s right! I grew up in Northeast Philadelphia, in Bridesburg! I just couldn’t believe my ears and my hope began to rise. I graduated from North Catholic H.S. In 1987. Please if you could reach out I would like to go into things further! If I had a wish to get this business off the ground and support myself well into retirement, I will do everything in my power to show you a success story! I thank you very much for your time in looking over my request and am hopeful our paths may cross in the very near future!
Sincerely,

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart, asking for kindness and compassion during this very difficult time. I have fallen behind on my electric bill, and the balance has now grown to over $6,000.00. Despite doing everything I can to keep up, the hardship of the past couple of years has made it impossible to catch up on my own.

This bill hangs over me like a dark cloud, and I live in constant fear of loosing electricty. It is overwhelming an terrifying to think about what life will be without power and possible eviction as it states in my rental agreement that if this happens they can evict me. No lights, no refrigeration for food, no way to stay safe and connected. I'm trying my hardest to work, budget, and find extra income, but i can not dig myself out of this hole without help!

I am humbly asking for any support, no matter how small, to help me get back on track. Every single act of generosity makes a difference and gives me hope that I can keep my home safe, stable, and powered. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading my story and for any kindness you're able to extend.

I have never heard of netwish before today. I am surprised to see a foundation that truly wants to help people in need . We all need help at times so I'm glad someone is able and willing... Thank you for real thank you... It's hard enough asking for help with anything but I have realized that it's necessary. And a hand up is different than a hand out... I have been trying to figure out transportation but the job availability is not what it once was and the struggle has been overwhelming. I can't get a decent job without reliable transportation, I haven't been able to go visit my kids from lack of transportation. I wish I was able to acquire the money to get a reliable vehicle. I'm living with my grandma and at 40 I am Starting over with nothing once again... I need help getting my life back before I end up homeless and alone... Someone please help.

Hello,

I am writing to request financial assistance as I prepare for major surgery related to my severe endometriosis. This condition has profoundly impacted every part of my life over the past several years, and I am humbly asking for support during this difficult time.

For more than three years, I have been battling extreme pain and heavy bleeding that led to severe anemia and made it impossible for me to maintain steady work. The physical toll has been overwhelming, leaving me exhausted and in constant discomfort. Alongside these health struggles, I have experienced devastating personal losses: my brother passed away from an accidental overdose, and shortly after, I lost my mother to undiagnosed, aggressive lung cancer. These losses, combined with the unrelenting pain and physical limitations caused by endometriosis, have deeply affected my emotional and mental well-being, contributing to periods of depression.

Over the past year especially, I have not been able to work due to the severity of my symptoms. My doctors have now determined that surgery is the best path forward. While I am hopeful that this will give me a chance to heal and regain some quality of life, the recovery process will take time, and I will need support to cover my basic living expenses during this period when I am unable to work.

Your generosity would mean more than I can express—it would give me the stability I need to focus on healing without the added worries I have about paying bills. Any assistance, no matter the size, will help me get through this critical recovery period and I would appreciate it more than I can express.

Thank you for considering my request and for supporting me as I take this important step toward regaining my health and independence.

With gratitude,
Jody Higgins

I’m writing this during one of the hardest chapters of my life. I’ve been diagnosed with Stage IIB invasive ductal carcinoma in my left breast—cT2N1M0. It’s a diagnosis that has shaken everything. The physical toll is immense, but the emotional and financial weight is just as heavy.

I’ve lost my job and my healthcare. My car insurance is about to lapse, and my medications—essential for my treatment—are painfully expensive. My monthly bills run about $3,000, and that doesn’t even include food. I’m falling behind, and the stress of trying to survive while fighting cancer is overwhelming.

I’m not someone who gives up easily. I’ve always tried to handle things on my own, but this is more than I can manage alone. Cancer doesn’t pause for bills, and mine are piling up. It’s a reality that’s reshaped every corner of my life. the fear, the uncertainty, the exhaustion—is something I carry every single day. I’m not asking for pity. I’m asking for understanding. For compassion. For help. I’m fighting with everything I have. Sincerely, Tonya

Hello to all,

My name is Coujaunia Morris. I’m a single, working mother raising a wonderful 12-year-old daughter who just started 7th grade. I’m also a disabled individual who continues to work full-time, and I’ve proudly held the same position for nearly three years.

I’m writing today because I’m facing a hardship with this month’s rent. In July, I was furloughed for two weeks while my contract with FEMA was pending renewal. That time off was unpaid, and although I’ve worked hard to catch up, I’ve fallen short.

Once I returned to work, I was able to cover part of the rent, but the remaining funds had to go toward essential school supplies and clothing for my daughter, as well as a $350 light bill to prevent disconnection. These were unavoidable expenses, and now I’m left unable to pay the remaining balance of our rent.

Any amount of support would mean so much to us. I’m grateful for your time, your compassion, and any help you can offer during this difficult moment. Thank you for reading my story, and may you be blessed for the kindness you extend to families like mine.

With sincere appreciation,

Coujaunia Morris Houston, TX

Please help me and my family, we are trying to bounce back after my wife and daughter were in a car accident and I've been fighting my own health issues which have led us to this crisis we're in trying to pay our rent. Anything helps and would be the biggest blessing ever. I've never had to ask for help like this but I had to humble myself because we're facing homelessness. 200 would help tremendously

I was here, but now I'm gone.  I would like to make my Netwish here.  I'm disabled and on a fixed income.  Since this isn't asking for help, I wish for $200 to pay the publisher to publish my first book, titled "Middle Child Survivor".  I'm polishing my final draft, and almost finished with the book cover design. I've been giving people sneak peeks, and now I have several already waiting for it to publish!
I would also like to have my baby girl, Knoxie, spayed, and I truly believe the passive income from the book will definitely help pay for it in full.

Thank you in advance for granting my Netwish!  God Bless!

  1. I am a mother going back to school for the 3rd time. I am hoping I can use this schooling to get ahead on the trail instead behind. I have been paying off my ex husbands debt along with mine from our marriage.  I have always worked but still so far in debt and terrible credit, again.  I need help just to keep afloat.  A life preserver of some sort helps to stay above water where I can breathe for a little while.
  2. I believe this site is an enormous gift to such people as myself and so many others.  THe meer thought of someone doing this is amazing and enlightening. We are blessed to be part of this.

I first want to thank you from my heart for all that you are doing. This seems like it's an unorthodox way to help people, but you know what, I'm sure glad that you are doing it. There are SO SO many people who feel like the rug has been pulled out from under them. I know that's the way I feel. People tell you to pull yourself up by your 'bootstraps', they tell you that if you want something bad enough you'll get it....You know, until anyone can say they have walked a mile in my shoes, they shouldn't be saying anything at all.

I offer my prayers for each and everyone who has applied for assistance. I offer encouragement, consideration, and concerns for every single family and individual in need. I know Our Heavenly Father's Hand extends far beyond anything I could grasp.

My name is Ebony Simpson, and I am a single mother living in rural Mid-Florida. I am reaching out in faith because my car needs major repairs—estimated at about $6,000—and without it, I cannot get to work or provide for my child. Public transportation is not available in my area, so a working vehicle is truly essential for us.

I also need help covering the cost of tag registration and the first month of insurance so I can legally and safely get back on the road.

I just recently got a substitute teaching job, and while I am truly grateful for this opportunity, the schools are in several counties away. With all honesty, I am broke right now—but I want to make this work so I can support my child and move us toward stability.

The Bible says, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7). I am humbly knocking now, praying that God may use your organization as a vessel to help carry this burden (Galatians 6:2).

Thank you so much for your time, understanding, and compassion. I truly believe, as Philippians 4:19 says, that God will supply all my needs according to His riches in glory.

Sincerely,
Ebony Simpson

Hello netwish I pray that i can get that help on here that I need because ive been praying and praying for a breakthrough. I was homeless for about 3 years up until March of this year I recently was able to secure a small apartment. I currently work part time but i do not make enough money to pay my rent and eat everyday, and can barely afford to buy new clothes. Right now anything would help out honestly
